Buysnus shipping policy?

    Buysnus shipping policy?

    Hey, gentlemen. Since I'm pretty new to snus importation, I was wondering if anyone could shed light on Buysnus' shipping methodology.

    I placed my second order with them a bit more than a week ago - a roll of mixed portions and a roll of the Limited Edition Offroad they had going on. The Order History states, in Buysnus' patented cryptic English:

    "The order will be sent in 1 รก 1000 g envelopes. The goods have been sent from Sweden."

    Well, I received the order today - 11 mixed cans (10+the freebie), no Offroad. Should I be worried? I would like to assume that they simply sent 2 envelopes, but this seems to be contradicted by the aforementioned statement... Any advice? :?

      Judge Faust, anytime Buysnus intentionally doesn't ship something, ie my Thunder was out, they will notify you via e-mail. In addition, they will send another e-mail when they do ship it.

      Occasionally, mistakes just happen. Let Buysnus know. They have made their name by how well they fix problems. I promise, they WILL take care of you.

        I remember someone had this problem a while back, and I think that the order was indeed sent in two separate envelopes instead of one, even though the order page indicated only one envelope.

          I didn't get any paperwork in the envelope, just 11 cans of snus...

          I guess I'll wait a couple more days, and contact the Buysnus folks if the Offroad doesn't come.

          I'm not too worried; judging from the comments on these forums, they seem to be fairly reliable and customer-oriented. Plus, even if the Offroad never came, I would STILL end up having paid less for these 11 cans than I would have paid for 11 cans of General at my local tobacco shop!

            I disagree. They make a terrible amount of mistakes for a shipping supply company.

            Their response has been slow and testy. They are defensive even though they make CONSTANT mistakes.

            They do not let you know that although it says that it will come in one package that it might come in 2. For that amount of snus, it should have come in one.

            I am surprised how they still assume it's user error when I have personal experience with no less than 4 mistakes on their part. The last of which was almost $100 worth of snus.

            You will read in prior posts regarding this company that they established a quick reputation for alleviating mistakes, and quickly. Some think that "people" were taking advantage of this and reporting mistakes that weren't as such to get more free snus. The hypothesis is that buysnus cracked down on that because of their paranoia regarding the matter. I think that's ludicrous. I think they simply do not run a tight ship.

            I am completely finished with buysnus. There are too many options out there for the same or better price (even with respect to their 6th roll discount) to continue being hosed.

              Harry, I am curious as to what happened. Did Buysnus NOT correct an order for you?

              You allude to a change in Buysnus policies about not correcting mistakes when snus doesn't show up. But in 15 months here, I have never heard ANYONE else report that Buysnus was refusing to fix a mistake.

              So what happened with you??

                I also have never had any problems with Buysnus customer service. As for stuff they send out, once they ship it, it's not their problem if it gets lost. But eventually, you SHOULD get it. I've never had an order than was in more than one package, but from the ones that do, they 2nd one will usually get there within a day or two.

                I did have an issue once with them not sending a freebie, but I just wrote them and they told me to write it into the comments of my next order. I did, and then I got it, no problems at all. That's the only issue I ever had, and I've probably ordered from them about 13 times now.

                  Hooray! The second envelope arrived in my mailbox today! The Offroad smells just like shisha - I just hope that I'll like it better than the other V2 products I've tried so far.

                  Anyway, for now at least, I'm very satisfied with Buysnus. I'll definitely keep ordering from these guys.
