Received two more orders the past few days from getsnus.com. Only took 48 hours from time of ordering for both! All was prefectly packaged in a box with bubble wrap. Got both my free tins.

The snus I opened was fresh and very moist. One thing I noticed for me, the snus from buysnus.com and northerner.com was never this moist...probably due to my shipments sitting and fermenting in stuffy customs areas awaiting inspection. So far I am really liking getsnus.com

They are a viable option and alternative to buying from Sweden. If time is of the essence getsnus would be a good choice despite their limited selection. It's grown much since they started and will hopefully expand more.

Umm, Getsnus has many, many fans and happy customers here. Very few detractors in fact. Hell, I expect to be a happy customer from them soon. What little they do have that I use, I will get from them. Both to save a few dimes, but also to send some business to them. Despite what you may think about my motives, I really do want them to be successful as a seller of snus. Even though I buy mostly from Buysnus, I still use Northerner for at least 20% of my orders for the same reason. But with my next order, I plan on breaking up my typical $125 - $150 order between Northerner, Getsnus, and Snuscentral.

I've placed my past 3 orders with GetSnus, and haven't had an issue. Their selection could be better, but then again they are a new retailer. They've expanded from just SM brands to carrying V2 and Gotlandssnus in a short time, and I'm sure they'll continue expanding in the future.

If only they'd carry Rape' lös.... :shock:

It is kinda nice not having to run the customs gauntlet, shipping is free if you order more than $50 worth, free can if you order at least a roll, and shipping time is comparable to the Swedish retailers.

The only *minor* complaint I have so far is that on my last two orders, the dates on the cans I've gotten have been just a little bit close. Not such a problem if you're ok with freezing, though.

It is kind of funny that the choice of vendor causes more heat in the forum than the choice of snus brands. I have now ordered from Getsnus, Buysnus, and Swedish-Snus (Northerner) and had satisfactory experiences with all three.

Shortly after discovering snus and deciding to place my first order, I contacted Getsnus's customer service email about the possibility of getting a sample pack from them similar to the SM sample packs offered by the Swedish retailers. Robert with Getsnus emailed me back and allowed me to choose ten cans at an attractive price and still threw in the free mystery can. There was one mistake with the order, my credit card was charged both for the regular price and the special price, and one email back to Robert fixed that the same day. I have now placed three orders with Getsnus and all three arrived in about four days. My verdict: excellent customer service, competitive prices, and free & fast shipping will have me buying snus from them again.

My second and third order were placed at the same time, one each to Buysnus and Swedish-snus/Northerner. Taking Buysnus first, I initially had trouble making the order go through, although that may have been caused by my credit card company disapproving the order and calling me to confirm I had placed it. In any case, I sent an email to their customer service address explaining the problem and received several courteous responses directed at making sure my order was taken care of and trying to diagnose the problem so they could prevent it in the future. My Buysnus cans were, on average, further from their expiration dates than Getsnus. My second order from Buysnus came with the envelope damaged and the lid of the top can in one roll was stoved in. I did not contact them as I am sure the damage was in shipment, but from what I have read here, I am sure they would have fixed it anyhow. Both orders took over seven days to arrive. My verdict: Excellent prices, especially if you order in roll quantities and take advantage of their roll sales, excellent customer service, I wish they shipped in boxes but I will probably order from them again.

I only have one order thus far with Swedish-snus. They seem to have the best prices on single cans and I really like their bonus set-up, one free can for every six purchased, the best of the three vendors. My order took over seven days to get here but was shipped in a box. On average, these cans were fresher than Getsnus. I did not have an occasion to email their customer service, so I can't compare that. I think my next order will largely consist of single cans of snus I have not yet tried and will probably be placed with Swedish-snus. My verdict: Wide variety, excellent prices on single cans, best bonus offer, I will order from them again.

I am glad to have three reputable vendors with different pricing and marketing strategies available to me. I could be happy restricting myself to any one of them but I wish all three every success. Like Sage, I envision myself spreading my snus dollars around, not out of charity, but because any one of these three may offer the best value, depending on the size and composition of my order.
