What's wrong with Northerner???

Got my order, with a little delay. I will continue to use you guys since mistakes happen and you seem willing to resolve them. Please think this stuff through more thoroughly in the future as customs in Germany can be a nightmare.

i ordered from them once, and that was over three weeks ago. i am yet to get anything in the mail.

Ouch, I haven't encountered any problem like that. Northerner have ups delivery at the same price as regular shipping, so I use ups. Takes 3 days.

I had 2 options, and 1 cost quite a bit more for me.

And yes, I am in the states.

Northerner has always been perfect for me. 5 business days and I could set my clocks by it.

Well it looks like Northerner are still using Swiss Post (at least for deliveries from Sweden to UK) Usual wait time for me is 2-3 days by Swedish Post but placed my last order last weekend and have received nothing to date. Their support confirmed they are still using Swiss Post as a carrier for certain destinations. Think I will switch to another supplier until they go back to using Swedish Post. Too bad as their points system was good where everything that you purchased contributed to freebies (not just when buying rolls)

Condor, same here as I didn't get mine on Saturday. Monday will be a little over two weeks. If I don't get it by Tuesday then I would think it may have been lost.

I give up on Northerner.

The ONLY reason I used them is because buysnus doesnt carry the Oden Kanel 8 mg in either form.

It will be a week and a half tomorrow.

All of my buysnus orders arrived like clockwork... always 4-5 business days and this is the 3rd time a northerner order has taken over a week and i still havent received it.

Well all my northerner orders usually take as long as buysnus to arrive. Swedish-snus.com is well Northerner but i find them faster. All my buysnus orders took about 1 and a half weeks to show up, Ordering from the Northerner site took just under a week and a half, ordering from swedish-snu takes a week.

Reading the posts it strikes me as northerner may have had a problem with many of the shippings in the last 2 to 3 weeks. My first 3 orders took an average of 6 days but it has taken a long time for the last order which btw coincides with the delay that others have been experiencing.

I may have went over board with my reaction but I get irritated when a " bigger " name seller of snus takes longer than " smaller " selling snus companies, im using quotations to indicate those words im using with a grain of salt.

Buysnus has never taken over 5 business days for me. Now I do remember when there was a 2-3 week period where people who ordered from them were experiencing very long delays.

So I know im over reacting but this is the 3rd time in 4 orders its taken over 10 days to arrive.

So anyways theres my 2 cents.

ive been placing mock orders with northener and swedish-snus...

most of the stuff i ordersay will be in within 1-3 days

but its been saying that for atleast a week

so maybe they just dont have it in stock and that is why it is taking so long

No changes in routine

Dear fellow snusers, I'm curious to know why your orders are taking longer time to arrive because our rotines hasn't changed. Sometimes there are things out of our control such as a change of local shipping routines. We are testing Swiss post for some countries in Europe until mid March but to US it is still the same with Swedish post and UPS. We keep the same stock level as before and ship out orders every day, also as we have done berfore.

We will have a meeting later today to discuss this issue and I will get back to you as soon as I know of any reason for the delays.

I think you have a fine company, and understand that once the snus leaves your doors that you have little control over what happens to it. There are a few people here that don't quite get it, and direct their anger at you instead of just being patient.

We have to go through this same song and dance every few months. For those who are new, or have forgotten, or simply don't wish to understand. Yes there are sometimes delays in shipping. This is rarely the fault of the supplier, or even Swedish Post. If there is a delay, 99% of the time the box has no trouble getting to the U.S., and once it's there, it sits. Nobody is quite sure of the reason, and you may not even be able to find out the reason. One thing that is almost certain is that you snus will get to you. I've been snusing since August, and I've ordered from Northerner, Buysnus, Swedish Match, and Getsnus. Yes. I've experienced delays, but there has never been a shipment that failed to reach me.
