What's wrong with Northerner???

Ive been ordering snus for over a year and was entirely lucky to only experience some delays.

Its easy for us to forget that once the order leaves that its entirely up to those in the postal services to handle it.

Who knows,,,,, maybe customs is backe dup with overseas mail or maybe its something else.

I remember quite a lot of threads having to do with buysnus very similar to this last fall.

Im just irritated is all , and damn it let us vent.

And yes, northerner has a great company.

Wait, hold on... So there have been delays from Northerner. The shipping and handling routines are all the same. But after that people have been having issues. Am I right on that so far? If I am then it's more than likely due to customs or the shipping service used, and not the supplier. It'd be unfair to blame the supplier since that's something that's out of their hands. However, if the supplier does nothing to try to remedy the situation, then there would be reason to be upset with them. From what I've read, Northerner is trying to remedy the situation and they do seem apologetic about it. I'd rest on this a little before going off on them and dismissing them from all future business.

My question now is has anyone had any issues with orders in the past few days? I wanted to try to order some los from them since their prices seem very nice, even after shipping is added in. If there aren't any issues, I was going to place my order in the next week or so. If there still are issues, I'll wait a little since I still have plenty of portions left. I definitely want to give Northerner a try since they also carry some of the nasal snuffs I enjoy.

Ordered Sunday, received last Saturday, 6 days. Within the range of 5-7 days I've always had from Northerner/Swedish-Snus (or buysnus). I think package was shipped Swedish Post, since value is listed as SEK 384 and label appeared the same as previous orders, not really sure how to tell tho.
I'm sure the occasional package gets held up in postal system for whatever reason, I've had a package from NC to CA take a month before, just seems to happen sometimes

My latest order arrived yesterday (7 days or 5 business days). Typical. Never ever have any real problems.

on a different note, i had to go up north for work (just came back on from days off) and if i stayed around the house for an extra hour i would have received my snus (****!). Oh well the Wife is shipping some to me.

Got my order in today from Northerner. I placed the order last Thursday (early in the AM Sweden time zone). The order was fulfilled on the following day (Friday). They do ship within a 24 hour period as per the reply I received from them. It took the normal five working days, using Swedish Post / USPS, which is usual. No complaints from me.

It does seem to be Swiss Post that is the problem I'm having with getting my Snus from Sweden to the UK.

My original order which was sent on 23/2 I have never received and then Northerner very kindly offered to resend my order on 3/3. Hopefully I might receive that tomorrow if it was resent by Swedish Post.

Made an order at BuySnus on 2/2 which I knew would be sent by Swedish Post to see what happened and it was sent out late in the day on 2/2 and I received it today 5/3 which goes back in to my 2-3 days time frame. I wonder whether UK Customs have started to hold Swiss Post items and I might receive a letter from them asking me to pay UK duty on my original snus order before I can collect it as Chainsnuser found in Germany. That would be a bummer though having already paid Swedish tobacco tax and EU sales tax on it. Mind you if the resend of my order does come through ok by Swedish Post if that does happen I might just tell Customs to bin my original order.

I am geographically handicapped. So I think my FREE re-shipment was sent from the Sweedish post instead of the Swiss post. Maybe US customs doesnt like the Sweeidsh post?

How can I tell what service was used?

Don't think you can tell from the Northerner site Messiah. If you drop a message to Northerner customer services through their website they should be able to tell you.
