Sorry I misunderstood. If it came via Swiss Post it will have the Swiss Post logo and mention Swiss Post on the envelope along with mentioning Priority Airmail but if it came via Swedish Post it will just mention Priority Airmail.

Shipping Times

Has anyone recently had any problems with Northerner shipping lately?

I was a bit upset with Northerner but I decided to give the company another shot and order from them. I will say they do have good prices and selection (and everyone else seems to love them) so I wanted to see if I could use them going forward.

Anyways, I placed an order on April 24th and still have not received it (USA-Florida). I did place one order with them before in Feb, but that only took 7 days to get to me. It sucks because I didn't anticipate my order taking so long so I am down to the nitty gritty in my emergency stash (and I REALLY don't want to use Camel SNUS).

Should I be worried that my shipment got lost?

I piggy backed an order with a buddy of mine. Came in 7 days after placing the order. We live in Arizona. Order came in last Friday 05/01 order placed 04/24.

What delivery method did you use? I live in Central Florida and my last order from Northerner took approx 6 days. That was through regular international mail.

I thought I used the priority mail or whatever was listed besides UPS (since I never go with UPS).

ALL orders, both Buysnus and Northerner, seem to be taking longer now. I have ordered from both recently and had issues with both. I suspect something is up at customs that is delaying the snus. But again, even my Buysnus orders are taking at least 50% longer now to reach me. Don't think it is fair to lay this on Northerner.

And as I keep harping on folks, just order next time when you are down to 20 cans. It really does save SO much stress and consternation. :wink:

Oh, I would LOVE to order when I am at 20 cans but unfortunately, I am never at 20 cans lol. I don't have as much to spend on snus as I would like so I generally order when I have 3 or so cans (I use a can every 3 or so days). If I had the money, I would make huge orders so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Sucks but que sera sera...

Same problem for me .. ordered about 40 cans from northerner in 3 seperate orders since customs can be a pain but 2.5 weeks later still no sign of my snus :shock:

I actually understand this very much. I am in a completely different situation now than I was 15 months ago. I was in a bad motorcycle accident 18 months ago, missed a bunch of work when I was already on edge, and actually went through all that winter with no heat as my gas had been shut off. I too was only ordering a small number of cans at a time and was waiting until I had about 10 days left before I re-ordered. As I have posted elsewhere, that was when I had a Buysnus order go bad and actually ran out, at least ran out of portions. I had a bit of los that got me through it but I vowed then never to let it happen again.

A year ago this week, I finally got my insurance money, about $9000. And other than buying my new bike, snus was the first thing I ordered, and I ordered about $200 worth. Ever since then, I have hoarded snus. The lowest have ever been is about 15 cans when I purposely drew down my stash so I could completely replace it with new favorites.

But having been through what I have, I get it. I hope yours comes soon. If you are in danger of running out, PM me. I have now and never mind sharing. Just let me know.

I do the same as Sagedil stock up for 3 months usually at a time! 40 dollar mini fridge keeps em plenty fresh 8)

If you look at your order detail in the personal menu you can see what shipping options you paid for.

You can also see the status of each individual item.

The page there will tell you exactly how many cans were sent, cancelled or pending. In some cases you will get items in more than one package, so the status for an order will say that some are sent and some are pending if you look at the detail page.

That stinks you had to go through all that. I went through a horrible auto accident in 1999 in which I lived (but went through the windshield) but my friend did not. I went to college in 2000, but nothing was ever the same. A raccoon ran out in front of us and he swerved. We were both as sober as a judge but he swerved in an old 1970 something Ford F-100 and we ended up in the trees. Needless to say, that affected me for quite a while after.

It is very kind of you to offer and I really do appreciate it a lot!! I do have a can of los I got a while back that I have been living off of lol. Whenever you mentioned using the los, I cracked up because that is exactly what I am doing. One thing I know for certain, this has to be the most generous board I have ever seen, as everyone comes to the aid of one another. I love this place!

I will just hang in there and hope it comes. Everything I ordered was in stock at the time so it just concerned me that at least 2 other people from FL placed their orders on the same day (or day after) I placed mine and they received theirs already. Just weird how mail works sometimes I guess. I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope.

I just checked and all items show sent as of April 25th, 2009. It says I picked Swiss Priority mail as shipping.
