Well I love Northerner, on my last 2 orders, (ordered and shipped 1 day apart) they both arrived 6 days after they were shipped. I ordered 5 cans of M by Mocca on special deal, and then Pall Mall White on special deal with a roll of Taboca.
On my Packing slip, it showed that the Pall Mall was out of stock and was to be delivered in next shipment, but on the online order details is shows that the cans were canceled. I shot them an e-mail to ask if I should be expecting another shipment or not, as I was charged for the cans that I haven't received, just gotta wait and see what they say.

A bit of advice for those people who have issues with northerner delivery times - Go with UPS. If you spend that little extra, you are guaranteed it within a few days (although I'm lucky that the ups price is the same as swedish delivery). The reason I give this advice is that the only order I put in with regular post is still not here, from 23rd Feb :roll: , whereas all ups orders are here within 3 days.

I think I have spent around 400 bucks this year with Northerner... or around that amount. Im thinking its more. I used to use exclusively Buysnus, but I started having problems with missing cans and cut open envelopes, so I moved to Northerner. Plus, I can take more advantage of their bonus points system, as I do not order rolls usually.
I know for a fact that the last order I placed from Northerner on 3-22-09 will take 2 weeks to get to me (from the time i ordered it) if they ship it today...and if it takes 2 weeks to get to me, purely while it is en route to me (as have my last 4 or so orders), it will be at 3 weeks from the time of order to the time its in my mailbox. UNSATISFACTORY. It took them nearly the business week to ship it (If it ships today or tomorrow). I understand that they may be waiting for stock to come in, but a little message to let me know would be nice. I didnt order anything wacky.
My Buysnus order should be to me by Saturday, I would assume. So, that means that in the time it took Northerner to process my order and ship it, I already received my order from Buysnus.
Ergo, I will be moving my business back to Buysnus.

Another plug for The Northerner
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have been using snus for a few months now. I had an order from The Northerner go astray in the mail, no fault of The Northerner. I contacted them to confirm they had sent the order, and made it clear that I accepted the risks of deliveries going missing in the mail. They confirmed that the order had been mailed and that they would resend the order. At no stage did I ask them to resend the order, they offered to do so voluntarily. Fantastic service, couldn't be happier.

I've had great experiences with Northerner, they're my only provider of snus, and I have only had good experiences with their customer service department, if you merely present the problem, not pointing fingers, they do their best to make you happy.

These companies have excellent service. Imagine how most cigarette companies would respond to all of the issues we've brought to these ones; in reality, most of them probably wouldn't even return our e-mails. I've had a problem with one order with each of the three main distributors we use here. All three of the companies fixed the problems with reasonable promptness, sometimes without me even asking/expecting it. I continue to order from all of them (one is my favorite, but that's my secret) because they are all doing their best to handle the demands of their customers as well as the things that are out of their control (like the postal service). They also each have their pros and cons, so I choose on an order-by-order basis.
I am so grateful that we have such wonderful companies to order from. I just wanted to post this because I think it's important that we keep our perspective and realize how good things really are for us. I know how horrible it feels when an order doesn't turn out the way we want, or something goes missing. However, the fact that these companies make such a concerted effort to correct mistakes and respond to their customers is something truly unique. At this point we have a choice: do we allow our righteous indignation to consume us, or do we learn to accept what we can't control, to practice a little patience, and to thereby salvage our peace of mind while remaining mindful of the overwhelming positive benefits we enjoy as dedicated snus connoisseurs?
In my experience, most shipping delays are caused by the postal service. Northerner guarantees that your order will arrive, but it may take up to one month. Furthermore, customs issues are outside the control of these companies.
