All the folks who are having to pay ridiculous amounts of tax and are thinking of making their own (you should be), here's another thread with plenty of links for DIY kits.

      Another Tasmanian checking in..

I tried snus a couple of times when I was in Europe courtesy of some Swedish friends, just got around to ordering 4 cans from Northener.. I'm rather disheartened by all the customs hassle people have been having, though. The whole thing is just absurd.

What we need is a snus using pollie, then things would take a 180..

Good to see another Taswegian on the board...
Where are you from mate? I'm Hobart (eastern shore)

Did you see the article in the Mercury a while back? Argyle St tobacconist wants smokeless tobacco... They're talking about removing cig displays from all shops, maybe that's his motivation.

I was thinking we should get Paul Lennon to advocate this stuff... As an ex smoker and a bit of a redneck at times I'm sure he'd be keen! At the least it'll give Peg Pug something else to whinge about... Some light entertainment for the 6.00 news...

            Yeah, I'm over customs.
Still waiting on mine. By the time it gets here it'll be all dried up from the heat.
            Argh.

Yesterday, I've heard in the radio, that Australia gets a new government. Hopefully, things are changing now, at least a bit, because the current snus-duty-fees are absolutely unhealthy (in many regards).

              Cheers!
