    Rethinking Northerner

I love Northerner. Love the selection. But I'm starting to rethink their prices and shipping.
I was ready to place an order when I decided to comparison shop.

    Ordering...
    6 Roda Lacket
    5 Offroad Licorice
    5 Grovsnus
    5 Ettan

    all loose

Northerner cost: 57.58 plus 14.88 shipping Swiss Post (the cheapest offered)
    Total cost.... $72.49
With this order I'll have about enough points for 3 cans of free Snus.

    Then I looked at Getsnus.
    Exact same order:

Getsnus cost: $51. plus free shipping
    Total cost.... $51.
With this order I'll get 1 free can of Snus.

Amount I save with Getsnus $21.49

Even figuring the 2 extra cans I can get at Northerner it just isn't worth it.

If you're only ordering what GS is selling, then I agree that it's a better deal. The only issue I've had with them is that the exp dates are a little close, but I freeze mine anyway, so no biggie...

      Totally agree.
And that is the ongoing problem with Getsnus. Limited selection.
And I know awhile back it seemed like they had an inventory problem. More out of stock then in. This seems to be better now.

GetSnus might just make Frank sharpen his pencil.

GetSnus has that price break at 5 cans that helps.

        GetSnus keeps widening it's selection.

They have Oden's now and Thunder is on the new arrivals page (3-4 Days)

          A little competition is good.

As several posts have highlighted recently, it is always a good idea to run an order through several sites if money is your biggest issue. Even Buysnus can be cheaper sometimes if you buy what they happen to have on sale at the moment.

Since Getsnus doesn't carry Elyxr, and that is gonna be in every order I make, they just aren't that big of an option for me. I checked a few months ago, and Getsnus didn't carry 80% of what I wanted. i know they have added some, and maybe one day, they will carry what I use. But for now, Northerner is my main goto

Sorry, it's not just for sage

Elixyr Pepparmint is one of my favorite snus's... and much like sage, is one of reasons I don't order from getsnus.

And no ctimb2002, they don't stock it just for me. I have been singing it's praises for a long time here, and many folks now use it.
