We send textbooks sometimes to Canada. Over the past three months, EVERY textbook we sent via USPS never showed up, and we had to resend using UPS. My Shop Steward now will only send to Canada Via UPS.

This one took a little longer than usual (7 days). I'm guessing because I ordered late Friday afternoon at the start of the Memorial day weekend.

Can't complain though, My roll of Thunder Frost was extremely fresh with an expiration date of 2010.

getsnus is faster

My order with getsnus.com came within five days and I was able to track it as it came. They ship from PA. My order from Northerner took ten days and smelled of ammonia. :cry:

Hey nottin...I am surly not one to induce panic around here. But I think just about everyone would agree with me that after the 3 week mark you are more than entitled to send an email off inquiring about your order. I dont believe I have yet to see a Northerner order take more than 15 days. So 30 might be a bit excessive. I would say shoot them a nice email asking about your order and see what they say. I think they will agree that 4 weeks is a bit long. I wouldnt worry about the 14th one yet. You have all sorts of holidays going on there to slow the package down.

You're forgetting one thing, he's in Canada.

He has to deal with Canada Post and Canada Customs.

I thought that was so obvious I didn't even remark on it. Not just snus, but ANYTHING can take a month or more to make t trough customs. I have had 16 students come take out concrete classes and they have a nightmare getting stuff shied from the states

I apologize for not giving specific enough advice. I live in FLORIDA...not Canada so I give what I think is good advice for anybody. If it's been an abnormally long time shoot an email off. The worst that is going to happen is that your going to get an email back stating that this is normal and if such and such weeks go by more than email us back. No biggie. Of course I only speak from my own little experience and other people have better experience. Follow my advice or not I stand behind it and I honestly believe that shooting an email off at the 3 week mark is good sound advice. Open lines of communication are NEVER a bad thing.

A friend in Canada mailed me some jewelry one time (I'm in Mississippi). I never saw the package. Two months later she gets a letter saying that the package had been diverted to tsunami relief (this was around the time of the huge tsunami in the pacific). Now what some little girl who just lost her house and all of her relatives needed 10ga titanium nipple rings for I don't think I will ever know....

On a side note, I got another shipment from Northerner for an order which was shipped on May 27.

There was nothing in either order that'd have upset Customs too much (no large shipment of many rolls, etc.) All items were shipped from Swedish warehouses, so there's no split order thing like I've had with Northerner in the past (when they get the General from the US warehouse and the rest from Sweden, etc.)

Hearing that other people have had recent issues with Northerner delivery times makes me hold out hope for another few days at least, though as of tomorrow it'll be three weeks.

Very surprised by Buysnus' turnaround time this order. The quickest from them yet.
