I placed a Northerner order that was shipped on the 7th; if it's anything like the last order, I'm expecting it to probably arrive tomorrow. A little over a week seems to be the norm.

Northerner order shipped June 8, still waiting.

Arrived June 18. So 10 days, typical for me these days.

          Ordered from buysnus 6/10,
          Shipped 6/11
Still waiting (delivery says 3 - 7 business days)

          Edit - Delivery = 1st priority letter - hmmm?

My last shipments from Buysnus (Swedish Post) and Northerner (UPS) arrived two days after I ordered.

BTW, the Swedish Post was slightly faster than standard UPS. Go figure!

            Cheers!

Northerner likes getting my goat. The last order i made with them was with UPS, hey its gonna be here in 4 days MAX!! but sorry to say its not. They decided to write Tobacco on the package. Now there is a GOVERNMENT HOLD on this package. Talked to UPS and they probably will not let the package into Canda.

              So canadains don't use UPS.

Not let it in??? That makes no sense. Worst case scenario is you have to pay a bunch of money to customs. That is as it's always been with you guys. Never, in all my time here, have I EVER read of a package not being let in.

It' not even a fine, it's just a customs charge. It is NOT illegal to ship tobacco into Canada, it's just taxed.

Again, I would push for some explanations about why it "won't be let in ". We have had folks from Canada here ever since I got here almost 2 years ago, and never have I heard such a thing. Now a $200 customs charge on $60 worth of snus, THAT I have heard of.

yes not a fine, but a customs charge. I have been dinged with some crazy charges before the most ridiculous was $140 for 2 tins (general maxis). Told them to keep'em.

I was informed to call in the morning and they will have the "info" i need.

I got dinged by US customs a few times. Once they wrote me to inform me that I owed 7.00 for 12 cans. The second time it was 40.00 for 5 cans. I told em to eat it. The third time it was a HUGE order for my standards- something like three rolls, and the tax was less than five bucks.

That's my gripe with US customs. They really have no set way of tallying up the tax owed and it changes each time I have to pay.

Atleast here in the US, when UPS handles an international shipment they are acting as the import broker. It's their JOB to handle clearance through customs. That means UPS gets paid to straighten out **** ups when some government bureaucrat misinterprets the law. UPS is the one that is dropping the ball here. UPS isn't doing their job.

Just got it around noon on the 18th. That is European dates. So, 11 days after ordering on a Sunday to go from Sweden to Cologne via Swiss Post. I am not impressed. Still, they are the cheapest. I guess I will just have to plan for it.

83 bucks for a 10 of Roda and 3 Gotlands Anis. Thank your lucky stars for GetSnus Ami`s.

                                BuySnus:

Ordered on the 15th of June and received it this morning (18th of June)

                                Shipped by Swedish Post

I've never had an order from Buysnus take longer than this. In fact I know for a fact that if I order on a Friday I get my snus on Monday. If I order on Monday I get it on a Thursday.

                                May this never change.
