Change in Northerner shipping//Effect of PACT?

i got a delivery from Northerner today and noticed that instead of the usual "snus" or "Swedish Snus" that is on the label that comes from them, this time it said "Crafts". i wonder if this is an effort to prevent blockage of delivery or their fear of anything related to PACT.

They have been doing that for a long time, long before PACT at least. Sometimes it will say Snus/crafts or the opposite, sometimes it has just said crafts. But not something new.

The way everyone is going nuts over tobacco it may be easier to get it into the US if they mark it as containing drugs or explosives.

The last one I got just said "snus".

You guys are lucky. It used to say "snus TOBACCO" back in the day. Kind of hard getting through customs that way without getting hit by a fee. :P

When Frank 1st started out he didn't start it with the intention of becoming just a snus business. He was selling a lot of things that had to do with Scandanavia. Snus just happened to be one of the many things he was selling and it soon overwhelmed everything else. He still has a large selection of crafts, it's just that not very many people pay attention to it.

I think my 1st package was labeled snus & crafts, long before all this talk of PACT.

I've noticed this too...I've also noticed something else. If I order JUST snus, the package reads 'SNUS,' if I order anything else, even an icetool, the package states, 'CRAFTS.' Same thing with snuff from overseas..the package usually reads 'SNUFF' but as soon as I add a little spoon or snuffbox to the order, it comes to me as 'CRAFTS.' Anyone else notice this or is this just a weird coincidence?

So if we order other stuff to go withit we're cool. Buysnus usually just puts swedish snus.

No. I have never gotten "Crafts" as of yet and most of my orders i usaully get other items tossed in. One could only hope that Northerner marks crafts on evey order.

The Northerner just keeps getting worse. All of my recent orders take 2 weeks to deliver, the old northerner would have it in my box in 4 days! And shipping costs have gone UP if you can believe it.

Every one of my orders is marked snus, I'm not lucky enough to get the crafts mark lol.

Stew I order from Northerner once a month, and have never had an order take longer than 8 days. Most hit in exactly 7 days.

Regardless of why it says that now, in the future I am personally all in favor of buying an imported $35 "Swedish t-shirt" which just happens to be wrapped around a complementary roll of Thunder ES. I'd prolly want to get in the habit of making a monthly purshase of one those very special Swedish fashion statements if they are packaged like that. Never can have enough t-shirts, or Swedish coffee mugs, or Swedish yarn & knitting supplies, or whatever.
