How long does it take to receive orders from Northener?

My first couple of orders took seven days on the nose. My first order since Swiss Post...brace yourselves....two and half WEEKS. I dunno, I was upset. That order was split with the US warehouse and I wanna say I got that order in 3 or 4 days. My most recent order was split as well (I hope, something has to tie me over by the time the big one from Sweden arrives) but it's been 7 days and the US shipment still hasn't gotten here. Sucks because I'm leaving Thursday to go to gulf shores for a week and a half... really don't wanna break into my frozen stash of Starks.
Bottom line, order big, freeze a few between orders just in case. They're usually good about getting them out on time, but Swiss Post...I think they suck hardcore. If you have the dough, spring for the UPS shipping.

I don't love Swiss post and do think they make things a bit slower. But I just take that into account. For me, at least, what had been 7 days consistently is now 10 -11 days consistently. But still been right on target once I moved it. :wink:

I'm still waiting for a Northerner order that shipped on June 7th..... :x I know it is not really their fault, but I order in relatively small quantities at a time, which means my orders are timed specifically so I don't run low. I would like to use them more often, but the shipping times are just a bit too unpredictable.

This is my order of importance:

Selection>shipping time>method of shipping>price

Price is not last because I am rich and enjoy throwing money around; I'm just willing to pay a bit more for an improvement of the other three, as long as it's not completely unreasonable.

I think I was Northerners least favorite customer the final week before my shipment finally came in, as I was constantly e-mailing them trying to figure out what had happened, since most postal services require the mailer to gripe.
But in perspective, Northerner has the best selection I've come across, and the bonus points system, while not always accurate, ensures that if you order six or more cans per order, you're almost always going to be able to get a free can on your next. On my last order two cans were free, so I'll stow the griping on that one for some time :wink:

My current Northerner order was made on 6/12. Still waiting.

Seeing as how my last two orders with Northerner took 18 and 20 days respectively, it's quite possible I may see this shipment next month some time. :P

Honestly, I think the best thing we ALL need to do is just learn to be a bit more patient an all will be fine. We use a rather obscure product we get shipped from the top of the world. Yet we always think it should be here like the next day.

it has been 16 days so far since i last placed my order. im down to my last can of GBR and im hurting for my order to come in. lets hope today it comes in but im not getting my hopes up. i expect it to be here in like 20+ days and by then i wont have any snus left. yay me!
