Are you in the US and still ordering snus?

I just placed an order from getsnus.com. Is it going to be confiscated? Are the feds going to be huniting me down and make an example out of me?

What should I do going forward?

I found a place within an hour drive of here that sells some General... but no sterk... and they want almost $8USD for that.

Yes, it will all be confiscated. Even though it's confiscated you will be charged $500. per can tax and you are going to share a jail cell with Bubba (bring Vaseline)

Getsnus is in the US (PA) and if you're in the US you won't have a problem.

Regardless. One law has just been passed, probably a year before it gets organized and rules get written, maybe several years before courts are through with it.

And that law may not effect us at all. The law that really could affect us is the PACT act, which would prohibit snus from being mailed through the USPS. Getsnus would be affected as any other. that bill has passed the house but has yet to be voted on by the Senate.

Nothing is changed....yet.

From now on I will order from "getsnus". Their prices seem competitve at least in the quantities that I want to order.

Since I started doing snus (a couple months ago), I have been trying all different kinds to find a favorite (5 orders in 2 months). The order that I just submitted (and all of the prior ones) is a potpourri of snus. I am trying many of the more popular ones to see what my favorites are before placing larger orders. My current order is nothing but Extra Sterks (Thunder, General, Frosted and Skruf) because I still have plenty of regular and whites left.

So far, my faves are the Jakobsson's (classic and icefruit), Onyx, Skruf Cranberry and Goteborgs Rape. In that order. General white isn't bad either. But it doesn't seem to carry flavor as long as some of the others.

Ones that I don't like are the Catch Eucalyptus and the Licorice. They are ok... just "not my thing".

One that I HATED was the Offroad Coffee Vanilla. I will probably never try another Offroad brand. It was that bad.

Hopefully we will still be able to buy snus for a long time to come without having to meet "Bubba".
But just in case... I think that I am going to load up my freezer.

Welcome BuLLitz! Sounds like your trying a little bit o' everything.

If you like the Goat Rape...the #2 is something you should probably something you should try.

Also, Nick&Johnny and Claq Qui are some very flavorful brands. Two of my very favorites and I try to get anybody that hasn't tried them to try at least 1 can of each! Grov Black is another must try.

If you decide to give Northerner a try, they carry some excellent "economy" brands that I highly recommend...Retro, L D, and Granit are all great and run right around $2 a can.

My cousin is/was from there and uses "badfish" as part f his email address and IM.

Also remember. There is still significant gaps in what Getsnus carries. Two of my favorites, 2 of 4 rolls I am ordering in a few days, Retro White and Camel White, Getsnus doesn't have.

So keep making use of Getsnus for what you know you want. But at some point, please do make an order with either Buysnus or Northerner for some amazing good snus you just can't get at Getsnus.

Er... I need to make a correction. My order in the first post was to buysnus.com... not getsnus.com.

Getsnus selection seems Ok as long as they have it there in stock in the US. Northerner only has a few items stored in the US.

My last order to buysnus is really probably my last order to them as long as there are some US sites with a decent selection. It doesn't have to be a great selection... just decent.

Amen to that. Good thing General is my favorite snus, with skruf coming in a close second. I just received a roll of each from getsnus. It got here in 2 days and no confiscation
