Here are some outcomes on recent orders I have placed:

Ordered from Snuscentral.com. The first time 10% off coupon did not work. I e-mailed them about it. After about three weeks they got back to me and told me that they will give me the 10% off on my next order. Sorta reminds me of the old "check is in the mail" joke. Don't think I'll be ordering anything from them in the future. Their pricing is on the high side and delivery is from BuySnus.com.

Have placed several orders with GetSnus.com. Got my free 6th can four out of five orders. Contacted them about the missing 6th can in my next to last order. Was promised I would receive two free cans with my next order... only received one. I still like their pricing and speedy delivery; however, will I ever see my missing free can?

Placed two orders with Toque. First order was flawless and quick. The second order came with half the tins crushed so bad that snuff was mixed inside the mailer! I like their prices but have had better delivery experiences with NicotineRush.com.

Placed two orders with NicotineRush.com. Very fast delivery with free samples in each order. Will order from them again.

Placed five orders with Northerner.com. Received everything I ordered without problems. I don't like that it takes 10 to 12 business days to receive my orders; however, I do like their bonus point system and wide selection. GetSnus.com often beats their pricing and ship times; however, only has limited offerings. I will continue to order from both GetSnus and Northerner.

Anyone care to share their recent order experiences?

I ordered from snuscentral only because they were selling the Nordstrommen Los Special Edition box for $14 and change. It took around a week or 10 days to get to me, so it wasn't bad. But I doubt I'd order from them again.

Ordered once from Northerner and didn't have a problem. Most of what I did order was sent from the USA warehouse anyways, but the couple of items that had to come from Sweden did take a while to get here. So probably only order from them again if I had no other choice.

One order went to buysnus just for Offroad Coffee Vanilla portions since everyone else was out of them, and I posted about how I was impressed with their shipping times and their service. Would use them again if my main place didn't have what I wanted.

Getsnus is the best place I've ordered from. Always get my orders in 2 days whether they send via UPS or USPS. The one time that the mystery can was missing, I emailed and they sent it out to me that day. Their customer service is tops too as far as I'm concerned. They're my main place to order from.

I am boring. In 2 1/2 years, I have never had ANY problems. One Buysnus order went really long, when they made their ill fated switch over to Swiss Post. And northerner orders taking a bit longer these days. But I have always eventually gotten everything ordered in perfect shape.

The next few weeks should be interesting for me. This morning, I placed $180 in orders for tobacco.

Should be interesting to compare and contrast experiences. But I expect, as always for me, I will eventually get everything

That's what I ordered from snuscentral too. I ordered two of them. Shipping was almost $13. Seems that snuscentral is a front for BuySnus.com.

I think the roll was something like $10 off. But I wasn't shopping prices. I had run dummy orders on all 4 only to verify I wasn't spending much beyond what I had budgeted. I think I missed by like $6 and change. And got literally EVERYTHING I wanted.

I also ordered the Spanish Gem, really want to try, and threw in a Violet as well with an order I did from Nicotine Rush as I needed a new bullet. One of my old ones broke finally. Those I should have in two days. the rest from Toque in another week.

I am beyond excited. I still in love with all of the other 9 Toques I use on a daily basis. But the thought of new snuff flavors I haven't yet tried haunts me 1000% worse than any untried snus ever did.

I also got rolls of the Odens, Retro White, and Camel White. Just lately, I seem to be less than liking any others than those three. I have never narrowed my use that much. But now, seems the way to go for a while. Just knowing I will always have those three on hand makes me almost giggle with happiness. And I made sure I threw in 10 cans of other snus to break it up once a week.

I have never had 4 orders placed simultaneously. And it has been more than a year since I spent this much money in one go. It's gonna be a North Carolina Summer Christmas for me!!!!!

I like having options, but at the same time, I prefer to stick with a few select vendors for my orders. Northerner is fast becoming my #1....yeah, the delivery times are longer now, but I just have to learn to order a little more ahead of schedule.

The only exception I will likely make is when I get around to ordering an icetool; I would prefer to order it from Ice himself (his site) than from one of the usual vendors.

Here's my honest experiences with every company I can think of in the online tobacco world:

Buysnus.com. Absolutely stellar company. I have been ordering from them for four years now, not one crushed, misplaced, shorted or substituted order. Average shipping time within seven days, great prices. I give it an A.

Getsnus.com Another winner. I have been ordering from them since earlier this year, and it is my go to vendor. Best prices overall and fastest shipping time hands down, within 2-3 days. Friendly customer support and no screwed up orders thus far. Free mystery can when you order at least five cans. Another A (and if they had BAT brands, I would give them an A+).

Northerner.com I went several years without ordering from Northerner. It was the very first company I ever ordered from and my order was screwed up. No customer support. No returned emails. My second order was filled correctly, but some of the items were damaged. Again, no customer support. I discovered Buysnus and had no desire to order from Northerner again.

Flash forward four years and I decide to give Northerner another shot, mainly due to the positive things that are said in their favor on these forums (and mainly because Sage is such a peer pressure enabler :P ) and another negative experience. This time, though, Frank personally got back to me and all was good. Then the second order I did was supposed to include the items that were incorrect on my previous order, only... they weren't there. Other than that, I got double charged shipping, but the rest of the order was fine.

This order took twenty days to arrive and the previous took eighteen days. Unacceptable. I also found the items that I ordered were cheaper on other sites after shipping was factored in. I also don't like how you're crapshooting on Northerner's shipping total while Buysnus and Getsnus keeps a running tally. That should have been fixed years ago. I also do not like being informed that an item is out of stock until after I payed for it. VERY not cool.

I know it sounds nitpicky and all, but when you get great service from company A for a few years, you can only expect company B to treat you at least the same way... and I didn't feel that way here. I haven't given up yet, like I posted before I think that the idea behind Northerner as a one-stop snus and Swedish crafts site is awesome. I will be ordering again when I need more candy and trinkets, but I'll get my snus elsewhere for the time being.

Snusworldwide.com has a great selection and absolutely the fastest shipping time out of any Swedish company. They also carry some brands that you absolutely can not get from other companies. They are also always in stock and always fresh. I have ordered from them occasionally over the years and the experience is always positive.

What isn't positive is their prices. They have some pretty elevated prices on their snus, and on your order they charge a five dollar handling fee on top of their shipping prices. It literally costs me over thirty dollars an order for four cans of snus. However, they are a very friendly group and I will continue to order from them in the future. I give them a C+.

snusexpress.com One order with them. Damaged package, took forever to get here. High prices. Big plus for the brands they carry. (Cough!) D+


snuscentral.com I've never ordered from them before, because it's basically a front for Buysnus. I don't see the point of going through a broker when I can just order direct from Buysnus. I almost ordered the Nordstrommen pack from them, but just for shits and giggles I emailed Buysnus and asked them if they would match the price... all I can say is that Buysnus is awesome. 8)

toque good stuff. Quick ship, decent price, and no damaged package or anything. I wish I used more snuff, as I have no reservation ordering from Roderick again. A- (that minus is mainly for UK customs, those cheeky bastards.)

swedishsnus.com Swedish match's own store. Bought stuff from them two or three times over the years. It seems like they have pretty high shipping from what I remember. I can't remember exactly what I ordered from them but it must have been because no one else carried it at the time. Either way, I can't recall anything past it arriving in one piece and costing more than it should have. I'll give it a C to be on the safe side.

nicotinerush.com fast shipping and great service. If you stagger your order up over different websites, you can probably find a better deal on most things at nicotinerush. I noticed they were kind of high on a couple of things I got from them. Otherwise, if you like having a one-stop snuff shop nicotine rush is the way to go. I rate it a B.

There was also a company that showed up here out of the blue one day and I tried ordering some brands that (ahem) you're not supposed to be able to order. They never charged my card and I've never received anything in the mail. Maybe sage can recall that site- I think it was the owner that came on here out of the blue pretending to be a satisfied customer. The thread has since been deleted. Either way, it was a shittily run store.

I'm pretty boring. After a couple of BAD experiences with Buysnus I won't order from them or any of their affiliates.

The Northerner, one issue in almost a year. They forgot two cans of snus, corrected within a week. orders take 6-8 days. Carry snus and snuff at good prices. Plus Frank is a helluva nice guy. After meeting him I'm even more loyal to Northerner.
Nicotine Rush, never a problem 2-3 day shipping to my house,huge selection fair prices. I think the shipping is a little high, but a couple extra bucks for the FAST shipping is worth it.
I do order direct from Toque if NR is out of a flavor I REALLY want. Again never had an issue, most times delivery is right at a week.
I'm about to place an order with Snuffstore simply because I want to try some stuff NR/Northerner/Toque doesn't have.

Sage, you are going to LOVE SG. Coke is pretty good, but I find it's more Pepsi ish. :roll:

When I order from an online shop, if I am happy with it, I just stick with it. My 1st snus order was with Getsnus, and it was perfect. So I have stayed with them. I know they don't have all the brands, but I am a newbie, and they have quite a bit, and alot I have yet to try, so I don't see a need to use anyone else. For nasal snuff, I ordered direct from Toque 2 times, and it was perfect. For a US based snuff shop, I always ordered from MrSnuff and a could of times an item was missing, but the customer service was excellent and the items replaced, so to me, it was just excellent. So unless service really falls, I see no need to change.

The thing I like most about Buysnus is that it keeps a running total of your shipment weight and lets you know how much more you can add without paying more for shipping. It's capitalizing on the fact that you'll probably look and say "Oh! I have room for one more can!" but I don't mind in the least because hey, another can of snus is always welcome.

Cheeky UK customs wrote in ball point pen on the opposite side of the parcel "snuff? naughty boy" along with a little frowny face : ( underneath it. This was after holding my package for seven days before releasing it. Cheeky, but still bastardly. :lol:
