Damn, that sucks, Sage! I have never ordered from GetSnus, and hope I don't need to. Probably won't because I keep ordering more snus even though I'm fully stocked.
What's your experience???

It's not the end of the world. Still have a ca and a half of Thunder Frosted. But that is not the point. I have simple standards from anyone who I do business with. Do as you say you will. No more, no less.
I have seen this happen to other folks using Getsnus, and I don't know why folks accept it. I was trying to keep an open mind about them, even used them over Busynus for my supplemental order I put through, as Getsnus was about $4 cheaper. But won't order from them again until i know they have fixed shipping issues. And will write a polite, but stern note to them explaining why I will no longer be using them.

@sagedil: I think I recall seeing a couple times that getsnus automatically "upgrades" orders over a certain amount to UPS. Some people see it as a perk, since it gets to them faster. Still, at least you don't have the mailman I had back in NY. If the kid couldn't fit your package in the box, he wouldn't even knock on the door, just leave me a note saying I had to walk two miles to the post office. Used to infuriate me when I'd been home all day, and not seen him and he would pull that.

The first order I placed with them was shipped UPS, but I just sent a message to their customer service department and while they said I would have to place an order by phone to ensure it's shipped USPS, I haven't done so and every order since has been shipped USPS.
Either way, the expired snus, limited selection and the fact that can only keep Thunder Frosted in stock for about a day or two is driving me away.

To me, Getsnus delivers like within a day or two. They have a whole bunch I still haven't tried. I like their prices, free can, I like their shipping charge. Has anyone ever wonder why nasal snuff is so overcharged to ship from US sellers? It doesn't cost but 3 bucks to mail and they charge 7-8 dollars. But untill I have any real issues with Getsnus, I'll be a happy returning customer.
Oh, is Getsnus the only US based snus seller?

Still no package. Not sure if UPS tried to come by this morning with folks in the back, or they just haven't been by yet.

I'm not sure about any others. I know there are retailers who carry snus in the States, but the only ones I've found are only around major cities.

You also paid 8 dollars shipping from Nicotine Rush. But my last Getsnus order really, I think it took one day, I got it last Friday, and I either ordered on Wed or Thurs morn, I'd have to check, but it came sooner than I expected. Nasal snuff is small and light why do they charge so much? I know those packages cost about 3 bucks 1st class. Also UPS I think would be slower than 1st class USPS. Plus your note came yesterday. Still, that's not a long time to wait.

Paid zero in shipping to Toque. Snuff from London got here faster than snus from PA, snus I paid money to have shipped.
In the long run, I don't care much. Usually never order anything when i am in a rush, this is <hopefully> a one time occurrence.
Look, I am grateful to get any snus. I don't overstress about it. I am glad Getsnus exists, just wish they would fix a few small issues. Price wise, Northerner is still better, far better selection, and I can control what I get as bonuses. But will still throw some business Buysnus way, glad I threw some business Getsnus way, reason I ordered from both Toque AND Nicotine rush.
About to call Getsnus and bug them a bit. Friendly like, but still a bit irradiated

OK, just a follow-up. Had to have been one of my funnier customer service calls. Jim with Getsnus started to argue with me that they DON'T ship via UPS. I had him look more carefully at my order that was up in front of him, and he finally said, "Wow, i guess we do ship snus via UPS. We have at least put a note on my account NOT to ship UPS again.
I have an order scheduled for delivery tomorrow, again via UPS. The UPS system isn't allowing me to redirect the package. Guess I will have to wait until I miss that order tomorrow, and put my work address in tomorrow night on their website.
WAY to many hoops for me to want to bother with
