    Snus in Kentucky stores?

    Hi,

I'm in Louisville, KY. and I was wondering of anyone knew of what snus is available here in stores? I read some shops like Liquor Barn have a little General fridge, but I haven't been to and seen this myself. I do see Camel Snus everywhere, but what about Triumph Snus, Tourney Snus, or Grand Prix Snus? Anyone know what's available here? Be it gas stations or smoke/tobacco shops?

    Thanks

That's the same stuff they got @ Liquor Barn here in Louisville.I haven't seen anything other than Camel  anywhere else.I was looking around in Cox's (tobacco shop) the other day and didn't see any there either, but I didn't ask if they had any snus.

I currently live in New Jersey but have been contemplating a move to Kentucky as I have family in Williamstown. I actually logged onto SnusOn today to see if there were any restrictions on shipping snus to KY and was happy to see that it's not included in the prohibited states. That surely would have changed my thoughts on the move, lol.

Figured my chances of finding Swedish snus in the stores was probably slim, but I can't find it where I live now.

I might have to visit that Kremer's shop. But I wish they had more, or I wish I didn't already have them already, well I don't have a can of the wintergreen... but I'm not a big fan of that flavor. But I do think, if we don't buy some cans from the shops, then if this stuff don't sell, they won't keep it. I have yet to try Extra Sterk, but if they had that, it'd be more a reason to go there and get some. I wonder if they overprice it, I mean, if it's more than 4 a can... I'd just stick with online, but still, IF there is some future ban on mailing having a local supplier would be great. General has US plants now, so I'd think they wanna stay.

I went to Kremer's in March and it was $3.25 a can.

Tom. just pop over the border in Ohio and find a Speedway store. They carry Triumph and Grand Prix.

My border is Indiana. Ohio would be a road trip, and I don't wanna do that for a can of Triumph of Grand Prix. Now if they had them in Indiana, I would, I go there every now and again.

I have seen Grand Prix and Marlboro snus for sale in Ind. Of course this was the north end up near Ft. Wayne.

I stopped in the Speedway on S. 3rd St., in Louisville, and I noticed they had a big advert on the outside of their window of some cigs deals, and TOURNEY SNUS 2 for $4.19. They had a turning display behind the counter, and on top they had 3 Tourney Snus, Original, Mint, and Wintergreen. I was of the mindset at that time(with a Grov in my mouth), that I just don't want any sweet or flavored snus, so I just got 2 cans of Original. I may go on and try the other 2 next time I pass a Speedway, just to say I did. Plus they are well priced. I haven't cracked open the can yet, but it is round, has 20 portions, and says "Made In Sweden". This just has to be way better than US Camel, and I suspect a traditional Swedish Style. I'll open it today.

Yeah, all the Speedways in Louisville carry Tourney Snus now, Original, Speamint, and Wintergreen. I bought them all. Only tried the Original so far, and I prefer a non-flavored, but I'll try/use them all, but I think the Original is very good, it reminds me of Grov White. I could use these regularly.

Just go to Kremer's on Preston and Jefferson. They have a fresh batch of General in stock.

Sorry for the double post, but mail ordering comes to Louisville fairly quickly. UPS has contracts with the postal service and their planes deliver overseas goods via USPS in a timely fashion.

However, if you're in a rush and don't want to pay out the funny cide for shipping, getsnus.com often has my order delivered to me in 4 days from their shop in PA.
