Man, I stumbled into this thread earlier today, had to get off to go to workout, came back to find it had escalated wildly! Good not so family entertainment, sorry to see the bad Karma, although I love it when they storm off and then suddenly reappear when they quit being such a dick, and then do it all over again, set your watch by it! I have been sagedil for 15 years on the net now. I would never change my name. You find me on a different forum, or in a blog comment, I am still the same old sagedil.

This is a hoot! Google Sagedil, and see how many results you find! I did it trying to figure out what it meant, and saw that all the results where actually Sage!
I have some kind of OCD thing that compels me to figure out the meaning behind people's screen name. ops:

Sagedil comes from my usenet warez days. I was dilettante there, folks called me dil for short. LAst couple of years, things got a bit hot and I stopped posting software under my dilettante nym. Instead, I started posting software under various names for spices. Rosemary, sage, etc. The idea was that a casual observer wouldn't see the link, but folks in the know would know it was always me.

Sagedil is just a construct from that when I needed a user name that I could guarantee no other of the 5 billion people on this earth would ever think of. Have used it on many, many forums over the years, use it when I post on political blogs as well

Actually not bad...it is get ready for this....TIM lol my dad's full name is Timothy but for some reason on my middle name they shortened it to the name he uses...tim so thats my middle name story...huh that could be an interesting new topic...and sage as far as telling him to come back as a another name it was only my way of saying that it would be the only way he could show his face around here with any respect is to hide under another name...needed to clear that up

to the original deal, I've yet to use any site besides northerner, just because I'm familiar with them. I mean, I get points for writing reviews...how great is that?
i'm just the type of guy who finds something that works and sticks with it until it breaks.
