I don't even care anymore. My last orders from buysnus and getsnus came just fine, by USPS and by UPS. If they continue to sell to me, I'll continue to pay for it. It may or may not be a reckless assumption, but I have serious doubts that the courts will come after me, the "unknowing" consumer, for $50 snus orders. I know this would not hold up in court, but how the hell am I supposed to comply with brand new laws when the system does not make these new laws known to me? Only place I have ever heard mention of it is right here. My advice to Washingtonians is to keep on keepin on. Nothing has changed. Write me letters when I'm in jail please.

I've been saying a company like Swedish Match, that is in the USA, and has the clout, needs to drop their snus into a sealed foil bag, before putting them in a can, and placing these on racks next to Redman in US stores. It would prevent the need for referation, extend shelf life, make it more available, and would reduce the store price to the same as online.

This is an example that just because the company isn't in the US, doesn't mean they won't abide by our laws:

tom502, the prices locally will never be the same as online. Here in WA for instance General Wintergreen White Portion costs $7.90 each because WA has one of the highest tobacco taxes. Sure there is a slight mark-up in the stores, but the majority is taxes.
On a personal note; I don't mind paying the taxes, it's the availability I am concerned about. I would gladly pay more for Ettan if I could get it locally. For now I will stick with General I guess (I love the Wintergreen anyway).
