    Getsnus.com

    Well I just placed an order to Getsnus.com for the first time. It was cheaper to order 6 cans of Offroad icemint from Getsnus.com and then order the other two brands I wanted from Northerner. Well Getsnus could not verify my age. Even after they charged my card. So I called the 800 # and finished the order over the phone. I get a call back two minuets later saying they still could not verify my age and wanted me to fax them a copy of my ID. I told them I could take a picture of it and e-mail it to them so they said that would work. So I sent it to them and still have not recived my confirmation e-mail or a call but it was just thismorning. I may have to cancelle the order if they cant make out the dates on my ID. Anyone else had to deal with something like this?

    This has happened to others, but not me. I imagine Getsnus has to be more careful since they're based in the USA. They're closer to a government smackdown if they sell to someone under age.

    It has a lot of restrictions on page length, and how often you can use it, but it works very well if you don't have to fax often.

      The website could not verify my age, so I called, got a really nice lady, and all was well. I'm going to place one more order with them, then move to Northern for a while to try some different snus. Maybe this Retro White I keep hearing about!

        Yeah, just call them. this is a problem that crops up at least once a month, call them and they will take care of you.

          ok, i just tried to place an order with them for the expired skruf for 99 cents, and I had to call them again. This was going to be my 4th order with them, and it's getting ridiculous. I'm only getting older, not younger, no need to verify my age every time. I think I'm gonna go check out Northerner now.

            Personally, I never had any problems with them. Once you have an account in, then you should be good to go.

              I haven't had them verify my age before. I've placed five or six orders with them. It just gives me that box that says "by clicking agree you're stating that you're over the age of 18" or whatever it says.

                  i have only great things to say about getsnus. I hated having to wait after i placed an order from another vendor. i usually receive my order in 3-4 days. never had the problem with age verification though. the last time i ordered online i decided to try the oden's extra stark cinnamon, thought better of it and decided to change it to general onyx. Called them, they are super nice and always happy to help. Glad we have someone in the good ol u s of a for those that are a little impatient like me.

                    Yea, I loved them, they have always been super nice and helpful. They even forgot my mystery can so I emailed them and within the hour they replied and asked what "mystery can" I would like. My only gripe is that I have to call them EVERY TIME I place an order. I didn't mind at first, but it is starting to get ridiculous. And yea, I do get my orders faster from them.

                      Sorry for the double post, but one other thing. Sage is right, I never really scoured Northerner before because I still consider myself a noob, but they have so many more brands to try then Getsnus. Once I find an all day snus (looking like General White at the moment) I'll probably order it from Getsnus. But for experimenting with new snus, Northerner all the way. I have some Camel White and Level coming from them now.

                          My last order, I used 3 different companies. Some I wanted quickly, so used Getsnus for that, I wanted my beloved retro, so Buysnus or Northerner for that, whichever is cheaper.

                          Hell, at least today, Snuscentral seems to be the cheapest of all.

                          All are good companies that may be best for you at the moment depending on what you want to buy and when you need to get it

                            Thats a bummer you're having such a hard time with them.

                            If I've ever had an issue I shoot them an email or a call, usally answered by either Jill or Bob (both super people), and they fix things right quick. They have always been flexible and willing to work with the customer to get things right for them.

                            Sure places across the pond have a larger selection and I order the oddball stuff from Northener still, but 90% of my snus is through getsnus now. It's nice to know that it will be on my doorstep in 3 days from when I order...like clockwork. There is something to be said for reliability.

                              I'm sorry for the trouble you're going through with them, but I really can't say enough about getsnus.com -- I am beyond pleased. I have so far placed 4 orders through them and have had zero problems. I placed my last order 2 days ago and UPS just came in the office with my box. UPS ground for $5, and get your order the next day? Unbelievable.

                              The only bad thing I can say about getsnus.com is that they don't carry some of the brands I'd like to try like Nick & Johnny & Kronan.
