alright since no one believes me:

granit white SC: 2.75 BS: 3.11
camel white SC: 3.20 BS: 3.80
retro white SC: 2.52 BS: 3.11
ettan loose SC: 2.93 BS: 3.28
general loose SC: 3.13 BS: 3.73
general onyx SC: 3.71 BS: 4.67
claq qui SC: 3.01 BS: 3.80

now im getting single cans, so maybe you save more on rolls, but the differences are pretty significant.

This could be considered a typical order for me. The Snuscentral site is slow, and quirky. I wanted 3 tins of Gotland Gul, but it didn't show up right. After going through the hassle, I didn't feel like fixing it and duplicated the order at Buysnus. Note also that I have 468g of free shipping at Buysnus. I can add snus, and the shipping wouldn't go up. Even as it stands now Buysnus is cheaper shipped, and it would only get cheaper as I added products.

      Edit:
I'm incorrect. Snuscentral did add the other 2 Gotland tins. Recalculating the total puts them about the same, with Snuscentral being slightly cheaper.

      Edit2:
It looks like Snuscentral uses the same shipping tiers Buysnus does. It isn't as convenient though, as Buysnus updates your weight, and tells you how much you can add and stay within a tier. With Snuscentral you have to trial and error it.

Sage, Daruckis is right. Snuscentral is cheaper than buysnus. No bonus/freebies at SC, but the prices are cheaper.

        Again that's today. Tomorrow?

lxskllr: yeah i see how your order being made through snuscentral wouldnt save much, but counting shipping, my order at snuscentral would be 32.44, at buysnus 40.51. 8 dollar savings is worth enough to me to order from snuscentral. i dont know, i must have compiled a list of lucky snus that happened to be hella cheaper at SC.

and did you recalculate the buysnus order with 3 gotland guls? because if youre saving 50 cents on an order with 2 more cans, i think snuscentrals winning todays best prices.

Guys, prices seem to be changing on a daily basis, so maybe Snuscentral is just faster at updating, or even the other way around.

Still, Snuscentral IS Buysnus. That much is fact. Now perhaps what's his name is forgoing commissions and setting prices lower for a moment to gather market share. But I highly doubt it will stay that way for long

              daruckis,

It must be because you added Retro White portions.
Retro White portions have added magical powers and make everything cheaper.

lxskllr and me didn't add the magical Retro White portions to our orders so we have to pay more.

you DO realize the non believers will be the first to go, right? nah im just playin, im not saying snuscentral is the best and everyone should go there, but as of today, if youre planning on making an order, as i am, i would highly recommend it since ive labored ridiculously over comparisons between the 4 sites. but ive learned that i will always in the future compare on all my orders, 8 dollars is a pretty big difference for the same exact products from supposedly the same place.

p.s. i already made an order today at getsnus for 4 expired skruf whites, and a roda loose(the only snus i wanted that wasnt cheaper at snuscentral) plus my ****in MYSTERY CANNN. all for 9.91.

EDIT: i added the 10% discount code, now its 29.83, thats right, the savings from snuscentral and buysnus is officially a full HAMILTON.

geeze people, interesting reading. gotta say i feel for you if you've been using northerner for a while and then they pulled this on you, but i sure as hell burst out laughing when i read about the hat and the river and the bitches!

i'm gonna beat on the pipes at getsnus and see if they can carry more flavors after reading about this.

                      Why would I get mad???

All the companies are constantly adjusting prices. I have no issues if they feel they need to raise them, just means I might use someone else next order. For a few months, Buysnus prices were way higher than anyone else. Didn't mean I liked Buysnus any less, they were my goto company for a long time. It did mean they didn't get much business for a while. If Snuscentral/Buysnus is cheapest for a while more, then they will get my <most> business.

It's about fighting for market share. I will go wherever the deal takes me at any given time.

When I first started coming to this site for info, there was a similar thread. I guess it's just one of those things. Every few months the prices will go up a bit.

So my Northerner Energy Snus was 3.50. Yesterday it was 4.06. Today it's 3.98.

This is like playing the stock market.
Do I hold out and wait to see if the price drops more or buy now in case it goes up even higher tomorrow.
                              (it's a rhetorical question)

The whole thing is ridiculous. I can see prices creeping up over time but this is crazy.

Has anyone from Northerner reported in to explain what is going on or has anyone been in contact with them?

I just ordered my first real order with them, so I can't really comment on the price jump thing that's going on. Hopefully they get it together though.
