northerners prices...

I'm a loyal person and used buysnus for 1.5 years.

I didn't even look at other sites.

Then I got screwed and switched to Northerner entirely for another 2.

Now they're having troubles and haven't replied to my questions.

I'm one of the lucky ones that I use primarily snus that getsnus carries.

I only order Kocksnus from Northerner now and get my GES los, Thunder, and Phantom from Getsnus. I feel like I'm stealing as I pay less than $2.50/tin.

So just for giggles, I rang up the base of my next order on both Buysnus and Northerner. A roll of Retro White, a roll of Camel White, and a roll of Oden's Kanel Stark. I will add a few more things when the time comes, but at least this gave me an idea of where the two companies stand.

Northerner - $103.20
Buysnus - $105.90

Not really enough for it to matter, but there is some snuff I will probably get too so Northerner gets the order.

So just ran through same order on Snuscentral. Holy sh**....Only $85. Makes no sense to me, hope ths holds, wish could buy today instead of waiting....

hmm....gonna go look at money, maybe I can if I wait two weeks to order more contacts.

My basic order should cover me for 2 months. I think I still need to build up some more non Retro/Camel/Odens, as I do like to mix it up. I guess I will take a census of what I have in two weeks, but saving $20 means I definitely can get some more snuff now. But I have $60 more to spend in a couple of weeks. :lol: :lol:

Isn't Snuscentral just a front for Buysnus as far as ordering goes?
The price difference is strange to say the least.

Taking out the overhead of bonus points for half price 6th roll let's you sell the same snus for 9% less and still make the same profit.

I'm sure that's a partial explanation.

My knock at Northerner earlier on about not stocking Icetools was unwarranted. 6 days after I ordered, it all came at once so..............

Yeah, but their prices were more than 20% lower. Still makes no sense, but me happy snuser, so whatever.

So my Northerner Energy Snus was 3.50. Yesterday it was 4.06. Today it's 3.98.

This is like playing the stock market.
Do I hold out and wait to see if the price drops more or buy now in case it goes up even higher tomorrow.

The whole thing is ridiculous. I can see prices creeping up over time but this is crazy.

Has anyone from Northerner reported in to explain what is going on or has anyone been in contact with them?

and today it's 3.91. Think I'll wait now till it get back to $3.50

Northerner's prices are calculated according to the exchange-rate of the US-Dollar. Since ordering snus is international business and the exchange rate heavily fluctuates between 1.20 and 1.60 Dollars per Euro in the last years, the price-changes are nothing to worry about. The prices in Euros (before taxes) always stay the same.

Buysnus is a bit more hesitating before they adjust their prices (which is a plus in my book, sometimes I pay with US-Dollars and sometimes with Euros. It's always an opportunity to save a few cents per can).

I hope Northerner decide to add some different snus to their bonus products. I'm pretty stuffed at the moment as I'm not into V2 or mini portion snus. Would be good if they could add Knox or bring back some General or something.

I notice they have added Knox to their bonus section Still 149 points for a tin of snus though :/
