I found the taste/flavor of these to be good. Slightly salty tobacco. I think some pepper would make it better. I must say, I don't find these preferable to the real Swedish, and I think it is the tobacco base. In real Swedish portion, the base tobacco is clay-like moist los, and these seem from a dry blended mix. I'm not a mini fan either. To me, these are not bad, but for being a rival to real Swedish snus, it's not there yet. Not bad, but not one I would choose over the General, Ettan, Grov, or Skruf. It does have positive potential though. I think the area for improvement is adding some pepper, and makeing the base tobacco ground more like a coarse snuff, and being moist.

Tom502, that was a really good review i love constructive critism and believe it is what is needed in order for really great products and by products to be created! Now as for the pepper thing, you know I know that infact Swedish match buys mostly american tobaccos to use in there snus like probably 80% so I wonder if as soon as they get it they add the pepper as it cures and gets ready for the pasterazation! Or, maybe they purchase little amounts of peroque tobacco from louisanna as it is a very peppry and spicy tobacco! Anyways, great review and keep up the effort and great work Tobacco tom!

Just seemed like a typical white portion to me.

Well, I definately want to thank Tobacco Tom for the samples, and for listening, and trying, and truly caring and really interested.
Trying to always be honest when critiquing a product, it is always just my personal opinion, and personal suggestions.
When I put a General Sterk in, or a Claq Cui, I think, wow, this is great! Now I know these companies have been around a while, and they should give such a response. In contrast, when I put ones of these in, it's like... for a little while, and then, hmm, this isn't bad, has a decent taste. Now, this is not meant to be a slight towards it at all.
But, I, and I think all of us, would love to see a US company make a snus that is really comparable to great Swedish snus. I know to keep in mind, this is just a test. I believe it was a positive outcome, but I would not say a fully realized ideal.

How many cans or portions come with the sample? And all you have to do is follow that link and fill it out, right?

                            Yes.

I got 8 packages. 2 each of Strawberry, Peach, Emerald Ice, and Cool Mint. each package is 10 snus.

Took less than a week to get them after I filled it out. Tom is way on top of his game.
