ok i feel like have to follow up after my last post in this thread regarding getsnus. to recap, i had to order by phone blah blah, i had to keep correcting the person on the phone with my order, blah blah they forgot my mystery can, said they were going to send it out and never did. ok, SO after posting that, about a few days later i get 2 emails from different people at getsnus who read my post, and they are super cool, apologizing for all the problems, theyve set up my account so i dont have to place an order over the phone again, and are sending me some cans. so i guess we'll see if they actually come this time, but for now, im really impressed with their resolve. so i thought id let everyone know, that though they made a mistake, they appear to work hard to earn our business over their competitors. and with this recent development, i think they really deserve it.

That kind of service is tough to beat, eh? Usually it's you calling customer service hunting down someone to talk to. Having them track you down to make things right is pretty damned impressive :^)

On top of that, many businesses* will jump on a forum like this and make excuses as to why things didn't go properly, and try to divert blame from themselves. They fixed you up, without any glory whatsoever . They had no guarantee that you were going to tell us about it.


*Tobacco makers/merchants seem to be a notable exception to this. All of my dealings with various tobacco businesses have been much more pleasant than merchandise in general.

Northerner is good. Once got someone else's order worth 30 bucks or something, full of snus and Swedish candy, told them and they just said keep it and would resend my order. They're always quick and prices ain't too bad. My 2cents.

Gotta put in my Northerner not so good experience for some balance. I had a aprox $50 order which is half filled...had LS and Retro on it. Ordered 8/21 This was ordered the day retro went bye bye but many where still getting it. The LS was filled but retro still on b/o status. My card however was charged for the full amount.

A day later, I ordered and Icetool (another $49+)..received one email that is was back-ordered. I replied with and eta for them to get back in stock and have not heard back. Again however, my card has been charged the full amount.

Getsnus has on occasion had a can or two back-ordered as well....but they Never charge my card until product has shipped.

Am I knit pickin?

Buysnus did the same to me when Thunder was first released. I was pissed, as I had no extra money and could get the Thunder elsewhere. Remember, Xobe had sent me the V2 test snus 6 months earlier that became Thunder, so I was waiting for LONG time.

I sent an e-mail to Buysnus about it and got back a canned response. But posted here too, and next day, super apologetic e-mail from them again from a real person, telling me they would make it up to me. Sent me like 4 cans of extra snus when my Thunder finally came, plus a can of Carbon.

Yes, I hate it when companies play this game, but have come to expect it I guess.

I hope it ships too!! Got one can of retro white in the freezer just in case sage...not a lot but another day or two in the search.

I'll try to exersize my patience for a couple more days before I begin to light fires.

alright dudes! update time. the guy from getsnus told me hed be sending out some cans my way on monday, well i guess he sent them out friday, because i got them today! 3 cans, all loose, roda lacket, ettan, and general ekstra sterk! so yeah, getsnus is awesome. if they start selling retro, ill probably order from them exclusively.
