Northerner - Excellent Customer Service.

My missing order (a rather large one too) has been honoured by Northerner.

It was to be delivered by Swiss Post and just vanished into the crappy postal service in the sky.

If you want your snus - DO NOT USE SWISS POST AND NEVER EVER BLAME NORTHERNER FOR SNUS GETTING LOST.

Northerner have agreed to re-send the order today - you simply cannot beat customer service like that.

There has been too much Northerner bashing at the moment and I wanted to establish a thread for snussers good experiences with Northerner.

I've used Swiss Post on my Northerner orders and had no problem. It's takes a few weeks, but it is coming from Sweden to Alabama, so the wait time is expected.

So far I'm happy with Swiss Post.
UPS costs too much!

I used to be happy with Swiss Post but when orders always normally arrive in 3-5 days and one doesn't arrive at 16 it's time to stop using Swiss Post if you can afford to.

It's not fair on Northerner either as they lose cash by honouring a re-send and we all want the Snus distributors to do well - after all they are our life line.

Don't you have a FedEx option to the states Robsan?

Northerners customer service is second to none in my opinion. Slow shipping is my only complaint, but that is not nearly enough to stop me from ordering from them.

UPS is the only other shipping option for the U.S. (at least for the state of wisconsin). The problem is, when I've ordered, it's a good $15 USD or so more to go UPS instead of Swiss post. That's a big bump if you only order 10 or so cans at a time.

Northerner has always had good customer service for me. There were 2 times I remember my order being packed with some cans that weren't what I ordered. I email them and the next day I got a reply saying they were shipping me what they messed up. No extra charge, and i got to keep the mis-packed cans as well.

Orders have been taking progressively longer since the switch to Swiss Post, but so far none have been lost yet. I don't mind waiting..........TOO long. :wink:

Ok - the proof is in the pudding.

Ordered my emergency order on the 15th by FedEx. It arrived today the 18th and it cost £1 more than Swiss Post.

3 days - beat that and I knew where it was the whole way here.

I love northerner, but not for large orders. I got a hefty shipping cost, and then a nice bill from ups, which i didnt pay cause **** em. sorry im drinking.

Don't ever use UPS, only time customs will ding you. I have put through $199 orders delivered USPS with no customs issues. There has never been a report of any customs issues when shipped USPS, only UPS.

Northerner orders page

Just placed my first order with Northerner last night and cant get onto the orders page on their site. Am i doing something wrong or is their a fault on their site. I sign in then click on personal then it says orders page a little way down but no link. Help

There should be a drop-down menu when you mouse over "Personal" where you can select "Orders".

Just tried with my account and it worked fine. Might try a different browser if you still encounter issues.
