A few shops here in town that used to sell it have stopped. I finally found a shop, but the stock is expired. There is still one more place to check, but it doesn't look good.

I think only placing snus in selective specialty tobacco shops is not the best way to get the product out there and known and used. They have to compete with Camel snus, and since they have the ability, should have packed cans that did not require refrigeration, and got these on the racks at the local gas stations and groceries, and had free can coupons.

Gas stations is where they need to go. I think they have their best chance of getting into the market that way.

I agree, and I don't think it'd be hard to make them not need refrigeration. The free sample packs they offer don't, and they are in a foil pack, all they'd have to do it drop the snus in a sealed foin bag in the can. It might be a new added step, but I think it'd be worth it. I have not gone to my select speciality tobacco shops, so I don't know what they have, but I am at the gas station and grocery store all the time, and I see the cans of Redman(also made by Swedish Match).

Well phooey. I tried the loose and it didn't have much flavor to me. At least they have the White and Wintergreen so I can go there while I wait on my mail orders in the future.

I'm just never around those shops. So, it'd be going out of my way on a special trip. Plus I am sure it'd be more expensive than ordering online, which I am OK with depending on how much more. But I am well stocked right now. But I do believe snus needs to be in the gas stations. Triumph is at gas stations, and it's not referated, right?

Down here a shop gave away 20 expired cans a few days before I got there. I am guessing that they were about the same age as the one I bought. Maybe you could score something like that. It's always worth a phone call.

Every time I check that General site there is nothing in Columbus, Ohio. What gives? This is a pretty big city.

I guess I am happier to have triumph in the gas stations rather then general in a couple of cigar stores but it just seems like we should have some of those stores here.

My local cigar lounge stocks everything General and it's pretty cheap, too, like $3.50 a can!

That's what the shop by me charges. 3.50 a can. When I asked, he even said it was selling pretty good. But with the limited stock they can hold at one time (they have a small general fridge), that doesn't mean much.
