He also PM'd me promptly regarding the payment site issues; he stated that Visa is all they can take right now. Unfortunately, I only have Mastercards, so I'm going to attempt it again to see what happens.....I don't think I was properly registered when I tried the first time, so we'll see.
New Website For Snus

We are watching the birth of a snus store in real time. Gonna be a number of hiccups along the way, I expect that it will get better and better as time passes. I just want to see folks give them a chance so we can see what he can make of it.
And it's in San Francisco!!! How cool is that!

Well, it looks as if it's a no-go for me.I tried several times, but that payment site just doesn't like my card.
Clubsnus guy, I would seriously consider Paypal as a viable alternative; I have never been in love with Paypal since they were purchased by Ebay, but you have to consider:
-They have solid business accounts
-They are very easy to use
-Their security is decent, and their purchase protection techniques are well-known to users, meaning most people trust them
-Everybody and their grandma has an account these days
Just sayin'.....

I don't think Paypal allows their service to be used for tobacco purchases. A few transactions could fly under the radar, but if you want to run a successful business, everything needs to be above board.
Edit:
What types of tobacco products does PayPal prohibit?
Question :
Answer :
PayPal generally prohibits transactions for all types of tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco due to legal requirements and industry regulations for online tobacco sales.

Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until things get a little more developed. I'm still totally down! 8)

Well, spamming under an assumed doesn't look good. But the real use for this forum for him, should be to get ideas from us, what to get. I mean, I need a reason to shop there. I mean if I just wanted General, I'd use getsnus, it's cheaper and the free can equals free shipping. He should ask us, "hey I'm opening a snus online shop in the US, what should I do to get your business?". My suggestion is carry what Getsnus doesn't.

Tom, he knows this, just waiting for his import licenses to be finalized to he can carry more stuff.
And as I mentioned above, that spamming wasn't him, was his stupid brother who has now been put back in his place and I have assurances it will never happen again (and it wasn't under an assumed name, was his brothers REAL last name and first initial.)
As I also posted above, we are literally watching the birth of a snus store in real time, which is kinda cool if you think about it. But there will be plenty of bumps along the road, as there were with Getsnus.
But I suspect, in the end, he will do this right.

I understand. I just don't want him to allow a faux pas that leaves a taint. I wish him the best, and welcome a new shop. But like I said, for it to be a success, he needs it to offer something new, something bonus, like getsnus free can, maybe offer a deal on rolls and a free can after a roll, but gawd, can you imagine your free can being Klondike? And offer rolls. Seriously, clubsnus, take the ideas here, and the general consensus we give, we wish you the best in your new shop. I know it's just starting out, and I am watching.

You just have to start somewhere. I just don't want folks assuming anything from what they already have.
I know the details of what led to the spam post, was REALLY not intended, and has been fixed. So that is done as far as I am concerned.
And what he carries may not end up being in his control. I don't know what getsnus issue is, but maybe, the smaller companies just don't want to deal with the headaches of being sold in a different market with different warning label requirements. I hope I am wrong, but suspect, at best, he may only be able to match Getsnus inventory.
I guess at least if that is what happens, means I would have to stop bitching at Getsnus about their inventory. Now if he DOES manage to get more than Getsnus carries, I will just give up on them and never use them again, as it means they just don't care.
So for many reasons, so interested in watching how this all develops.

sgreger1, it just opened it's doors yesterday!!!
It is just trying to get off it's feet. He is still waiting for import licenses so he can broaden the selection. He has posted about that.
Please give it time. You don't need to order until it is fully stocked. But please don't be rude about it.

Sorry, didn't read the other pages on the thread untill after posting.
Still, if you can get general regular portions, his license should allow for him to offer strong snus as well.
I am going to order from him today and try some of these hilariously rediculous flavors.
I hope you succeed friend, because if you can get me snus in Santa Cruz in less than the standard 7 days, you are going to make a lot of money off me. I snus two portions at a time, and often, and I buy in bulk.
