Gettin snus shipped FAST, like 5 min ago

I am sure this has come up before but the search function isn't working for me.


I live in CA and I usually buy from Getsnus.com, but it seems that no matter who I buy from it takes about 7-8 days to show up at my door.


Does any store offer an express delivery? They all seem to have only 1 standard delivery option.

If anyone knows a store than can ship faster for extra money, please let me know.

Try calling them on the phone. I mean Getsnus. I think that's about as fast as you're going to get right now.

Unless that new shop in Cali is up and running.

You can always find a local store selling the few General brands in the U.S. and have it same day if you want. Probably pay more. Having to pick it up isn't the same as getting it delivered though.

I wouldnt mind picking it up but it would be an hour drive for me to get it. Also, they charge like 6$ a can and it is always SUPER SUPER moist for some reason, rendering it unusable unless you set it out in the sun for a day or two.

There's a shop opening in CA? Have any more info on this, like a name?

I think it's that Club Snus shop that was posted on here a few days ago. Right now, they've only got General, and a bunch of American snus, and maybe a couple other SM labels. Once they increase their selection, I'm willing to try it, but until then it doesn't have anything to make me place an order there instead of at BuySnus.

You must be paying them off. :P Getsnus takes around a week for me, as well. It's usually give or take a day, but I can definitely say that I've never had an order get here in three.

IIRC some were claiming that orders of five cans or less, or maybe $20 or less, get shipped USPS, the rest UPS. Maybe one of you guys is getting it in the mail and the other via big brown? I dunno about all this myself. My first order from them was two whole cans and I'm pretty sure it came UPS. The others have all been UPS as well.

All but one of my orders from GetSnus has come USPS, usually in about 3 business days to Oklahoma. The one from UPS took 5 business days, IIRC.

Yah In cali it takes like a week and it always comes UPS. I called their customer service to order and asked if it was true that smaller amounts get shipped usps and they said no, all ups, all the time.

I made an order on Sunday night at getsnus for a box of Discreet and it arrived on Wednesday via USPS. Im in Ohio.

Maybe they use USPS for the eastern states, as out in the far west it seems like they only use USPS, maybe a pricing different, who knows.

I heard it was based on weight. If it gets so heavy, they use UPS.

Ive ordered 4 times from there. 2 was from ups 2 from usps. My most recent I placed the order on a tuesday and it was usps, 2 boxes because of back orders. Got one box in yesterday and the other today.

It seems in my experience if I place the order on a monday or tuesday it comes quicker then if I place it on a friday.

My first order from getsnus was tiny, and it came UPS. All I ordered was two cans. One was the free can of General White, and I felt chintzy so I threw in a can of Ettan portions as well. I didn't order more because I already had a bunch coming from buysnus, and I was leery at first. I'm not leery of them now; I've ordered a bunch from them (and buysnus; still waiting on my first order from northerner).

I'm in the Florida panhandle, so maybe it's a question of range rather than an east/west thing.

EDIT/UPDATE: I was wrong. Stupid me. My first shipment from getsnus came USPS, as is the autumn sampler I ordered yesterday. The first shipment had rolled off the "recent orders" list, but I finally spied the "order history" link. I'm such a detective. I didn't get a "GetSnus shipment on the way" email for my first order either. I guess that should have been a clue. :roll:

So, yeah, my two smaller orders have come/are coming by the post office.
