I'm in London Terminator, and I had one go missing recently with Swiss Post and it's not pleasant.

That's the reassurance I wanted for Terminator1066. Yes, things bad can happen, but they are always fixed.

Delivery to the UK seems to be different than to the US.

Firstly it's not all that far from England to Sweden so we can expect pretty quick delivery times and I don't think I'm being unreasonable by saying 'expect'. All my past orders have arrived within 5 days. Delivery to the U.S will of course take much longer and three weeks is to be expected there.

Secondly one of the standard mailing sytems seems to be failing badly - it's either Swiss Post or it's Royal Mail on our side and it's quite obviously not the fault of the Snus company so I think that by advising UK customers to order FedEx in future is prudent as it's just as cheap as the standard mail.

Thirdly, the Royal Mail in our country is undergoing something of an upheaval that may result in it completely disintegrating, therefore morale amongst its employees is dwaining and stuff is getting delivered all over the place. I've had stuff delivered to my home that doesn't even resemble the address on the letter/parcel. The Royal Mail is crap these days and simply doesn't compete with private companies like UPS or FedEx which is why they're going to the wall.

I will ALWAYS order FedEx in future to the UK - I've learned.

You just use the strategy that works. At least here in the states, the opposite. Our postal service is decent, real decent. Here, orders sent by Getsnus, so from the sates, take LONGER by private carrier (UPS) then they usually do by mail, And post office's priority mail is about bulletproof, and cheaper than private carrier.

I am guessing your issues area combination of Swiss Post/Royal Mail. Swqiss Post is not great, I know. Responsible for making Northerner's orders take almost twice as long coming to the states as it used to. Trow in Royal Mail issues on top, yes, I would just use Fed Ex too. :wink:

Thanks for all the info guys. My order arrived this morning and took 9 days. Next time i'm using fedex . The only problem i have is the cans of phantom classic brown i ordered only have 21 portions is them and northerner show them as having 24. I've mailed them about this and we'll see what happens. That means i'm 30 portions down as i ordered 10 cans.

I read the portion count has been known to vary per-can with some V2 snus'. I would not think all 10 were short, I have read some have more than 24. Personally, I've never counted my portions.

I've opened 4 cans now and 1 had 23 in it and the other 3 had 21 in them. I'll open the others later and see what they have in them. I had the phantom white portions last time i ordered from sweden and they all had 24 spot on and i think I'll be getting them next time.

Well i opened all the cans and these are my findings. 3 tins had 21 . 4 tins had 22 . And 3 tins had 23 portions . That's 20 portions short. I'm not knocking northerner it's not their fault it's the phantom quality control that needs looking at. I allways count my portions and this is shocking i'm nearly a can down.

In my next order i'm gonna use my northerner points to try some loose phantom brown. Might love it might hate it but it's not gonna cost me anything to find out and it may be it'll save me more cash in the long run. When i'm down to 4 cans i'm putting in another order .

Yes i will definatly be trying the classic brown los. I heard back from northerner about the missing portions and they are sending me another can as compensation. Good on you northerner. I'll be sticking to the white phantom portions from now on they all had 24 in last time.
