Has anyone else ordered using Swiss Post from BuySnus since they started using it? Is it any speedier than the old delivery route? I'm mildly curious since I just placed an order on 10/22 (shipped 10/23), and while I'm not in desperate need of the contents, I'm looking forward to trying a few new brands (Ettan and N&J portion, f'rinstance, and the new Phantom).

That said, I've used swedish post once and it came through fine. I think Sweden has a pretty good postal system - more likely that any delays via that route would come from one's local postal system rather than the swedish one. I don't use it because UK's Royal Mail carries the post once it crosses the border and they're a bunch of useless, thieving buffoons.

That SWEDISH flag's server doesn't allow linking.
It's in your cache.
Folks, SWEDISH and SWISS!! Remember it's SWEE-Dish. Think of something nice to eat (or put in your mouth); a SWEET DISH.
On topic: I've ONLY used the standard Swedish postal service with BuySnus and it's always come through fine.

Swiss Post
Changed Shipping alternative - Swiss Post instead of Swedish Post.
We have NOW changed one of the shipping alternatives and all envelopes that were earlier sent by the Swedish Post Office will be sent by Swiss Post International instead. The UPS shipping method is still the same for those who prefer to ship with them.
What will be the difference?
- Swiss Post is a large international company with more than 2700 post offices around the world making them experts on shipping mail.
- The envelopes is first sorted at ours and then sent to the Airport by UPS express delivery. Here is a second more precise sorting done. The mail is later flown out from Sweden to the destination country. When arriving to the destination country the envelope is handled by the local post offices, the same way as with the Swedish Post (still not able to track).
- Swiss post faces up to the challenges on the market in order to maintain its leadership in the future. Its central values are customer focus, competitiveness and a nationwide public service. Customers are at the heart of their every thought and action.
We hope...
...that we will cut at least one day in delivery time.
...no delays from incorrect sorting.
...a 100% delivery rate.
I mis-remembered thinking it got sent to Switzerland first. As you stated they're an international carrier and it appears to all take place in Sweden.

As far as I know "Swedish Post" is THE Swedish post (a state monopoly) whereas "Swiss Post" is (atleast THESE days) a private multinational called Swiss Post.
Since posting my previous reply I remembered where I'd seen the Swiss Post name before.
Buried under a few books on my desk next to me there's an old job offer from Swiss Post I cut out of a paper. They have a big handling and distribution center in my city.

I wish I could take credit for it. I think it goes for a visceral initial reaction more than a contemplative one.
Well, I don't think Swiss Post -> USPS is much of an improvement over plain old Posten -> USPS, speedwise. My order still hasn't arrived, which puts it on par with the old way. This might be due to the increase in postal traffic due to the coming holidays, though, so I guess I can't really point the finger just yet.

I got my order via Swiss post today. A mail day later than I expected, and missing the can of Ettan lös I ordered :^(. The top of the envelope was torn open, so I imagine the can fell out.It looks to me like the envelope was overstuffed, and it tore open in transit. I've emailed Buysnus about it. The Ettan was what I really wanted from the order. I'm hoping I can get another can without paying for it again.
