    Shipping woes

    Two in one day (yesterday):

    Package via UPS was supposed to arrive from Getsnus yesterday. I stayed up waiting and waiting... eventually, at 7:15 pm I get the following update to the tracking:
    MC ALLEN, TX, US 10/22/2009 7:15 P.M. THE PACKAGE WAS MISSED AT THE DESTINATION LOCATION / DELIVERY RESCHEDULED

    Tracking has not been updated since, though it now shows today as the scheduled delivery date. No idea whether it's actually out for delivery or not... bleh.

    Meanwhile, USPS brought two packages from Sweden. One was fine, the other was short four tins. There was a small tear in the envelope but I don't think it was big enough to let anything out. This was from SnusCentral. I sent a message through the "Contact Us" link yesterday early afternoon... no response yet.

    Argh.

    That is all.

    Don't let things get delivered via UPS, Sucks. Call Getsnus and tell them never to do that to you again.

    As for the other, both Northerner and Buysnus have always taken care of issues like that in the past. But since you are going through Snuscentral (Still Buysnus), I can't really comment on that but would assume it would get taken care of as well.

    Please let us know how that part goes. I am NOT a fan of Snuscentral...at all. But have used them at least once since at that moment, prices were so much cheaper. But if they don't take care of you, then I will just revert to trashing them completely at every opportunity

      Yeah, I'll be getting ahold of Getsnus to ask that they no longer send me things UPS.

      As for SnusCentral, I'm a little worried that it has been well over 24 hours and I've received no response whatsoever... not even a "We're checking into it".

        Update:

        UPS arrived with my package, no worse for wear, a day after it was originally scheduled for delivery.

        SnusCentral responded with an apology and stated they would resend my missing tins, along with something extra to make up for the inconvenience.

        Balance has been restored to the universe.

        .. back to bed before I pass out. Got the flu.

          Sorry about the flu.

          But exactloy as I expected, all the snus sellers have always fixed issues.

            I can speak for Northerner - class act. Always fix stuff (which isn't needed too often) and great people.

            I've only ever ordered from them (maybe once I bought from someone else, can't remember).

            I'm like that - once I find a person/company that works - I stick with them. For as long as I can - good example is like Victorinox - once you get one if their products/tools/knives you can send it back usually and they'll fix no matter what, basically. You just pay shipping. Anyhow - Northerner is great.

              Had to email SnusCentral again... this time an order that should have had 10 random cans of regular portions and 10 random cans of mini portions again contained, in place of the random mini snus, a single can of General Mini Mint.

              Exact same thing both times, two separate orders... I think there's a problem with the ordering system... no matter how many cans of the "Bag o' Snus - mini" I order, all I get is one can of General Mini Mint!
