My First order through The Northerner (shipping from Swedish warehouse) Placed late last night:

•Thunder Frosted Extra Stark, Strong Portion - 1 pcs.
•Roda Lacket, Loose - 1 pcs.
•02 Original Strong Portion - 1 pcs.

Status shows "shipped" already. Do they eventually issue a tracking number? Not sure how this works when ordering out of country - To USA.

In my experience with them so far, there's no tracking unless you go with UPS. Once it's marked as "shipped" it's pretty much a waiting game. It usually takes about a week to arrive.

I never get a shipping number from them. It just shows up in the mail around two weeks later. You can't really go by the status on the website either.

Yeah, usually 7-10 days for me, usually no more than 10 days. I just order, and let it be.

Thanks for the responses. I have an order on the way any hour/day now due in from getsnus so that should tide me over until my Northener order arrives. Guess this "customs" thing just has me a little paranoid.

LaZeR, customs has never, ever been an issue EVER if a package sent via USPS. A few times, customs charges have happened, and even more frequently, a customs brokerage fee ONLY if shipped via UPS.

So assuming you got it sent from Northerner via regular mail, just not never an issue.

:shock: "IF" a customs charge were to happen, how does this get charged? As in automagically to my credit card via my original order or does the postman hold it until I pay him like a COD?

It would be held, can't be charged to the original card.

But again, was yours sent from Sweden via regular mail??

Anyone know roughly how many cans the maximum would be to qualify for this? And, a dumb question, is there any chance of a shipment coming from the US warehouse still being taxed somehow on it's way to my house? (also in the US).

I'd just like to be sure, my last order from northerner came from sweden without any problems at all, but I know things change so I figured I'd ask.

So, is anybody having trouble getting the free shipping from the US warehouse? Whenever I try to order stuff that will ship from the US, the normal USPS Priority Mail option (the one that is supposed to be free during this) is missing from the shipping options, I only get the choice of UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Ground. Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me?

My order is showing as being pended on 10/28. How long does it normally take for them to process an order? I know you guys said I would get it in a couple of weeks but was curious as to how long it takes for it to change the steps in the order status. Would the fact that I had a can of the Gotländskt Julesnus loose and portions in my order be what's causing the delay? When I placed the order, it said something about 1-3 days beside those two.

My last order from them the status on the website didn't change for a while. They won't ship the xmas snus until it's available. If you ordered other snus, they ship it now. Don't really pay attention to the status, with Northerner you just kinda have to forget you ordered and you'll be surprised 2 weeks later when it shows up. I always get a small Getsnus order to hold me over until the big one comes in.

Luckily, I have a good stash of cans from my great experience from the Exchange especially since I made myself stop double barreling.
