I dunno but I will be doing the same once every 2 or 3 months. I'm sure in light of the PACT Act, they will open their doors to customers if they aren't already.

will pact affect phone orders? or is it just internet? because getsnus does ordering over the phone.

I believe what PACT affects is mail. I.e., order all you want, but transport becomes the problem.

But would they even be able to pay for a warehouse if they are not doing mail orders?

This is how I see it.

The PACT act is not going to completely outlaw mailorder deliveries it's just going to make things a big pain in the ass and much more expensive.

USPS will be out. Everything will have to be delivered by UPS, FedEx and DHL where an adult signature will be required and the shops like Northerner and GetSnus will be acting as tax collectors for the state you reside in.

We are living in the good olde days right now. Enjoy them while we are here and don't spend your life tilting at windmills.

Yep thats what I think also. When I buy a can of Triumph here in Ohio its $3.85 + .20 for tax so prices shouldn't go up that much. Getsnus doesn't charge any differently for USPS vs UPS so that shouldn't change much either. Now some states like New York and California have much higher tobacco taxes so it would effect everyone differently.

My Mom and Dad make their own wine and order winemaking supplies. They are delivered by FedEx and require an in person adult signature. I'm sure there is an additional fee tacked on to standard delivery charges for that service.

I emailed Northerner and asked if they had a retail store at their warehouse. I'll post the reply when (if) I hear from them. Their store is less than 60 miles from me and I'm in that general area occasionally to pick up rough cut lumber. Would be a real plus to be able to buy directly from a store.

Good luck. They never responded to some questions I asked and I read in another thread they didn't respond to someone else.
