So I placed an order with buysnus.com last monday night as I have mentioned before, but didn't recieve a shipping confirmationt til TODAY. I was banking on that snus being here before thanksgiving, and now I have to wait another week, and thats considering it gets here sometime this week. I emailed buysnus about this, and while they were nice and offered me some free cans on my next order, I dont want to do business with them again anytime soon. That being said, I need suggestions as to which online retailers have reliable shipping and a good selection. Thanks for helping out

ClubSnus.com and GetSnus.com are both located in the U.S., and are very reliable. They don't have the selection of the Swedish companies, but they are working on getting more. -
Buysnus is pretty reliable, as good as any of the vendors. I haven't seen a company yet that hasn't had some complaints about it. Your best bet for speed is one of the US suppliers; Getsnus, or Clubsnus. Otherwise, order from Sweden, but nothing's guaranteed when buying from thousands of miles away.Comment

That's odd. They usually have pretty reliable shipping. Most of my orders shipped the same day, or the next morning at the latest, unless it was a preorder or something. Here's the order and shipping dates for my last several orders through BuySnus:Originally posted by pwnzoar

As you can see, they are generally quite prompt. The only orders that took more than a day to ship were orders placed on a friday evening or a weekend.
What shipping option did you choose, and were any of the items you ordered on backorder or preorder? Depending on the shipping option choses, they may not ship until everything is available. In any case, I know it must be disappointing, but give them another chance. I've found them to be generally fast and reliable.Comment

If I had to guess I'd say the delay was caused by a backorder situation and they waited until they could ship your order complete.
Let's not forget Northerner has a US warehouse now. Check the flags for USA availability.Comment

Sorry to hear about this. My most recent order from Buysnus was placed on a Thursday and received the following Tuesday, via Swedish Post. You were probably held for a back order, but this should have been communicated to you when placing your order, and so I can see why you're upset.
I've had very good luck with US based Northerner orders. If I place my order before noon, I usually get it the next day. I live in the next state over, so your results may vary.Comment

I agree with Justin about the backorder situation. I would suggest Northerner because they seem to always ship partial orders right away if there is something they can't get right away. They eat the extra shipping.
Of course, Getsnus and Clubsnus are faster if they stock what you want.Comment

Thanks for the feedback guys. So based on that, Ill definitely give them a chance again. In response to those asking shipping options and what not, I had swedish post selected and it didn't say that anything was on backorder. I guess it was just a flub, so I'll give em another chance, especially since they offered me some free cans and what not. I was really mad this afternoon when on top of it not being here for thanksgiving, I just got the confirmation today. But yeah, I'll give em another chance, but also go for the US based companies when my stocks lowComment

Although they are there for the consumer. They can't always be the way you want them to be. This applies for all online retail stores. As such one would just have to bite down and accept the fact that a store doesn't solely cater for one specific person. Maybe they had a malfunction somewhere? Their money exchange thingy wasn't working? Server when down? Maybe even THEIR shipment was late or they were having problems with their seller. Take that into consideration, especially when dealing with oversea's sellers. Sure it'll piss you off but by the sounds of it you don't seem like you're going to die or kill because your shipment will be a little on the later side. They corrected their mistake by compensating and giving you, the consumer, a special deal in the future. So take the chance, get a few free cans. Then perhaps when you're finished then find someone else.Comment

A good rule of thumb is if you need an order fairly quick, go to a U.S. retailer. If you can wait a bit for it, use the international sellers.
My last order from getsnus was ordered friday morning at like 1 a.m. It was in my PO box on saturday. How's that for turn around time eh?

Sorry to hear about your order from BuySnus. I'm fairly new to buying snus and have only placed three orders so far. However, they are the only company I have ordered from.
I have always received my shipment within 7 days of placing my order... and that was the first time and it just so happened that one of those days was a postal holiday. The next order arrived 5 days and another one was 6. That's including weekends too.
Two things to note: according to an e-mail from BuySnus, the Swedish Post is not open on Saturdays as is USPS. On my last order, I had not received a shipping confirmation for a few days so I contacted them. I assumed that they were waiting to ship my order because they had not gotten the Christmas snus in stock yet. But, they told me that, if something is not in stock, they will send out what they have right away and send the remainder of your order out when they get it in stock. It turns out that there was simply a glitch and that my order was already on the way. (If you read my other posting, I actually ended up receiving the same order twice because of this)
My guess is that your order somehow got lost in the hundreds of orders that they had. BuySnus is always quick to answer e-mails and I would recommend them to anyone so I would definitely give them another shot.Comment
