That sucks. I usually place an order with Getsnus, (and now Clubsnus) because I'm impatient. Clubsnus has the fastest shipping time period.

I wouldn't hold it against northerner, just a good reason to always go for cheap shipping.

UPS have let me down a few times in a row recently. When I've paid for next day delivery it's usually turned up in 2 days and no explanation would have been offered by UPS unless I had pursued them and when this happens I see 'exceptions' on the UPS tracking info. I think these are missed connections/flights and was also told adverse whether conditions recently.

When I queried with BuySnus when this happned they ignored me but Northerner did send me an alert through the UPS site to let me know that my delivery date had been rescheduled due to adverse whether conditions.

When did you place the order? I am still waiting for orders there were sent 11/17/2009 and 11/21/2009. The one on 11/17/2009 is a re shipment of an order that was sent to me on 11/1/2009 and I did not receive it. This might be my last order from Northerner. I love their selection and service but I love receiving my products even better. I used Swiss Post on both orders.

It's amazing how they bounce packages around like that isn't it? Your snus is going on a world tour before it reaches you.

It would be great if they put stickers from each country on the box, as it came through - like the old cartoon suitcases when they went around the world and had dozens of stickers detailing the trip

Any idea of what the laws are regarding the importation of snus? I have heard that there is a greater chance your package will be taxed by customs if you use UPS instead of Swiss Post but I cannot find anything about that unless you are trying to import large quantities. Has anyone using UPS ever been taxed by customs or is that just a rumor?

WTF? That makes no sense, IMO.

                            are you snuffin human remains?

                            outstanding!!
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

OK just from browsing other forums on the net it does sound like a customs issue. Depending on the amount of snus you ordered, you may have to pay a customs fee or they may let your package go and send it to you. Man I though Swiss Post sucked but UPS looks downright scary!
