Didn't want to make a new thread, but in reply to the most recent Clusnus post and pris' reply.

I think all we need is a sticky called something like:

"Store Promotions & News"

And Clubsbus, Getsnus, Northerner, Snus.com, Discreet, etc., could post their sales, and any store related updates there. And the rule would be that stores only use the sticky, and we all can check it now and again, and the stores can edit them as needed.

This would be different than the Exchange, which is just sole members doing trades and whatnot.

I dunno. Are we just thinking this out too much? I mean whilst that isn't a bad idea in a way, how would people realize a current promotion or sale since the edits wouldn't *bump* the post as a new thread/post thus many including myself would just overlook any changes or new sales by not thinking to click on the thread to check.

Again, my opinion but why not allow ANY REPUTABLE (meaning those who either participate in the forums and/or have proven reliable by others posting and word of mouth...) to post their information concerning updates, sales, clearances, ect... in this section at will?

If it is that big of a hassle for the mods to keep up with old postings, maybe turn on the "Purge after X.... days" function in phpbb and make a notation of that in the forum description.

Personally, I don't care who posts what and where, as long as it's snus related(not that I have anything to do with anything), but it's obvious some do. So that was the best suggestion I had to appease those in charge. It's just a suggestion, I'm just a member here, and I don't make any forum decisions.
