I didn't care much for it, but a lot of people here liked it. Too bad.

They marketed it as a manly "slap in the face" snus, but put it in a girly can. Not sure why they did that...

That was totally industry news and announcement!

Not really girly, white like the border of boxing shorts with red blood spatter.

Gee, what a surprise. SM's rushing a new product off the market... :^S

Why the hell do they even bother? If you're not going to give a product a chance to succeed, it's stupid to spend the money in the first place. No loss to me, but I know some people liked it.

This is why you horde snus. If you like some snus, especially a new brand, there's a better chance than not it won't be around in a couple of years.

That's just dumb, it's one of their best snus... if not their best.

That sucks. I liked Claq Qui. This limited/discontinued/YourintheU.S.you'rescrewed snus is getting ridiculous.

Well if you think about it, they're only really out some labels and marketing costs. It's not like they built a new factory to make this snus.

Oh, and I agree with Liandri. If product releases are Industry News, then so are product discontinuations. That only makes sense to me...

Labels and marketing aren't that small an expense. It won't make SM broke, but throwing money away doesn't help the bottom line. Are they expecting to unseat General with a new product? They need to focus on a company vision, and stick to it. Coke didn't start off as a worldwide success. I'm not sure why they think a new snus brand should...

I haven't gotten clarification, but I think the industry news is meant more for insiders. A official spam depot if you will :^)

But they do have a limited number of slots in snus fridges at point of purchase in Sweden. You can't keep endlessly introducing new brands. Swedish Match seems to give new introductions anywhere from 6 months to a year to attract a following.

You keep introducing new brands and drop the ones that don't reach a minimum % of the market or you risk losing market share to companies like Skruf, JTI, and BAT.

I may well be wrong but it wouldn't surprise me to see Grovsnus Black get discontimued by the end of 2010.

Don't speak that, the snus devils will hear you.

I like N&J Strong, N&J Black, while not "bad", was not needed. I hated Grov Black. Thought I like Probe on 1st taste, but then couldn't finish the can. I don't like RL. But Claq Qui is great, better than all those above, better than General Sterk, Extra Sterk.

i agree with you guys, Grov black and probe are nasty. I never felt any nic from RL white or los, but claq qui was pretty good. And while i wouldnt say N&j black was grose, id say its deff not that great, and i will probably never ever buy any nic&j ever again. infact ill go further to say that in my opinion N&J is a fad like slap braclets were in the early 90's
