Swedish Match leaving a press release about a new brand makes sense, but is it also for lxssnus.com mentioning 50¢ off a tin of General? If it's only the former, I'd question the utility of the section. That would get 10 posts per year, tops. It really isn't worth the screen real estate to have it.

        maybe i just couldnt take myself seriously using N&J cause i live in NJ.. lol i dont use sterks anyway.

          I'd rename it "Industry and Shop News".

            Well just saying, instead of having 2 seperate threads about this being discontinued. I mean are you in on getting all the companies to email you or make their own thread in there themselves? Distributors find out faster than anyone but not everyone trolls the dist sites all the time. I'd say if its official and legit, make a post with the most professional heading ever. Provide the source of the new and whats going on for the first post. (Mind you all in a professional way, let post 2-whatever be crys or happiness) Otherwise like, yeah, 2-whatever seperate but same threads...

            Just thinking in a more organized fashion don't take what I say to heart or anything. But I don't see M&J jumping into there to let ya know about this. Or will it be someone different?

              When I spoke to Ice he said the section was for manufacturers only, no webshop promotions.

                This is something what we are not looking for.

                Pris is right as always :wink: News section is focused only for industry & media & brand news, company announcements & product releases. Common area for manufactures & producers. That's true that News section won't be ever super busy, but the content is very heavy and if manufactures find it useful, we will get first hand information always when the industry is doing something new. If everything works well, the idea & news area is very cool!
