    Snus.com needs to fix something.

    Ok, obviously I know better and am not a total newb but still...

    No indication whatsoever listed on the restriction to selling Lucky Strike to US customers.

    So, yea I try to pull a fast one thinking maybe just maybe they are somehow getting around this law:

    Lucky Strike, Portion
    swm-9104
    $ 3.13

    Ordered: 1
    Refunded: 1

    $ 3.13

    Offroad Limited Edition, 10 cans
    v2t-limited
    $ 20.99

    Ordered: 1
    Shipped: 1

    $ 20.99

    Odens Extra Strong Liquorice, Portion
    gaj-1110
    $ 3.56

    Ordered: 1
    Shipped: 1

    $ 3.56

    Offroad Cranberry Strong, Portion
    v2t-0032
    $ 3.10

    Ordered: 1
    Shipped: 1

    $ 3.10
    Oh well. Placed order last evening (everything went through fine) and just found out today the LS was being rejected.

    SO PUT A F....ING NOTATION AS SUCH NEXT TO THE PRODUCT AS THE OTHER VENDORS DO, PLEASE!

    Oh and 1 more thing. Why am I paying VAT tax or whatever....?

    VAT (6%)
    $ 2.36
    Taxes
    $ 2.36
    -----------------------------------------

    UPDATE:

    I have to give Snus.com some credit now. 5 Actual days total and I have received my order via UPS saver from Sweden. This is the fastest I have personally received an order from Sweden. So in the end I'm pleased. Snus was packed well also.
    PS: Still wanna know about that VAT tax. :shock:

    UPDATE #2

    WARNING!!! to USA customers. Their brilliant selection of UPS Saver whilst getting my order to my rather expediently has in turn cost me yet another $8.50 in UPS Brokerage fees just today received in the mail. :x

                  we did something about that back in 1776.. i fear we may have to do something like that again soon, taxes are getting way out of hand.

                        Heh, I tried to pull the same thing, a couple of weeks ago. I ordered a roll each of LS OP, WP, and Bold. It went through, no probs. Then I began to feel bad. Finally on the day we heard about Level I replied to their email with my order number, saying, "you know, I realize you might not be able to send me this... how about some Level instead?"

                        Got an auto-reply, then nothing until yesterday, when I got a slightly confusing email, that looked just like my original invoice, except for the word "credit" in there somewhere. So I wondered, are they giving me store credit, or will they refund my money?

                        So today, they, actually Northerner, did in fact refund my money, so no harm, no foul, I guess, except I probably caused some ppl needless work. So I shall have to go buy something from snus.com soon to kind of make up for it. Plus, no more monkeyshines, I promise.

                        I can't say about the VAT. That just sounds wrong. You shouldn't have to pay that, obviously.

                        All in all, I think their communication could be better. Their system worked for me, which is the major thing, but it could all be more clear. I'd rather have a flat-text email with useful information, from a human if possible, than a slickish html email with their groovy store logo and not much else.

                        Of course, in my case, there's probably not much they could have said besides, "why did you order that? You idiot!" I guess I'm just lucky to have my money back.

                          I should have figured something was up with that goofy ass logo they sport. :? In my parts, you give up a couple bucks tip, you at least get a lap dance.

                            That's unfortunate indeed. It would be better to indicate this beforehand in order to avoid misunderstanding or disappointment. The better webshops will certainly have such an indication.

                              +1 Twas the biggest point of my OP. They kinda sucked me into this order which I probably would have made elsewhere. It wasn't until I seen the LS listed with no restriction that I got adventurous and proceeded with my order. Had original sales receipt copy in hand showing all went through and 'pending'... Wasn't till the next day I get the ole YOU CANT HAVE IT message. :roll: :roll: :roll:

                              I know far worse things can happen but this does leave a bit of a bad taste in my mouth about this vendor.
                              Over-site or Shady practice.... :?: :?: I should start a poll. :idea:
