The only time I had a problem was with a roll of expired General Loose. It was advertised as expired and discounted appropriately. It doesn't taste like it's bad per say, just a little funny flavor added. I think it picked up some General Wintergreen flavor from sitting next to some wintergreen snus too long in the fridge. I might toss it because of that extra flavor but I knew my risks before I bought it.

On another note, I got my closeout snus and swag and am quite pleased 8) The fridgemates are pretty cool, but I store a variety in the fridge and you would have to unload the whole thing to get to the ones in the back. Still very nice though, the spring loading is cool.

Dude! I got that too! That wintergreen flavor is really disconcerting. I highly dislike wintergreen, so it's an unwelcome addition. It puzzles me how a flavor could migrate to a sealed tin.

Yep, took me a while to figure out what was going on with the flavor. But that's the only thing it could be. That sneaky wintergreen seeping through the cardboard

Ewwww - I just cannot fathom how anyone can smell wintergreen and want to put that in their mouth.

I didn't even know fridgemates existed. When he sent me my most recent purchase all my snus came pre-loaded in multiple fridgemates. That is freaking class if i've ever seen it...

Plus I got hella swag, mugs, beenie, coasters. I am really so upset that Jonathon is closing.I still think he could make this profitable if he tried, I just don't see how it couldn't be at least marginally profitable, more than gas money for sure.
If I had access to an accountant I would run the numbers and consider opening shop here just for the west coast (to reduce the paperwork). There has to be a way to make a few hundred a month. I bet he still never sold all that nordic ice or discreet lol.

If he ONLY sold to CA residents, would there even be a PACT issue for him?

You gotta remember that snus is still a very small niche in the USA. Coming here, it seems like everybody knows about, and uses snus(!), but outside of our conclave, it's pretty much unknown. California/west coast is a very large POTENTIAL market, but right now, I don't think the money's there.

Well I agree the market is still based to snus forum members pretty much, but I think it will get bigger as time grows (as long as there is someone here selling and promoting it), and Marlboro and Camel help it out by at least getting the "snus" name out there, than I swoop in an offer the good stuff.

I think if only selling to CA people it could be done ona small budget and you could make a few bucks, but if it ever kicked off you would be in a good place.

I'm going to wait a few months and see how pact pans out and how Marlboro's new snus product is treated here. I really think CA people would like snus compared to cigs or dip, everyone that akss me about it is amazed and almost doesn't believe it. "If it didn't give you cancer than everyone would be doing it, all tobacco causes cancer". We just need to get rid of some of the propaganda that is attached to tobacco today.

I just heard about Clubsnus shutting doors the other day; that just sucks. I thought I had found my groove splitting my orders between Northerner and Jonathon, but I guess I'll just have to stick with Northerner from now on. I always figured that a solid west coast connection (in my state, no less) was a little to good to be true...
