Probably approaching expiration, but we don't care about that, do we? I got a roll :^)

Thanks for posting that...just ordered a 5-pack myself. I've only been using flavored snus lately (mainly minty ones and Discreet), but Roda is my one exception.

Why does not expiration bother you? Are the expirations not that relevant?

No, they don't matter so much. I've bought a fair amount of expired snus now, and I have ton expired in my freezer. You /may/ be able to tell a difference between expired snus, and one that's only a week off the line, but you'd have to do a side by side comparison. I'll take expired snus every time if it saves me some money, and I'm not one to use cheap/sub optimal snus to save a couple dollars :^)

Well I asked GetSnus via email and they said it is NOT close to expiration snus. I bought a five can roll of the loose and now wish I had bought a ten pack!!!!

I don't pay much attention to dates on the cans either. Mine go directly to the freezer anyways and I may sort them out by date so the older stuff gets used first, but I don't obsess over it. I've had some get a little dried out even after being double wrapped, but it's easy enough to remoisten them so no biggie with that either.

Well they just re-emailed me back saying the best dates on those cans is March 8th so I guess I could freeze them or just use them up real quick... I don't care for variety myself so could just use them up They said they would pay return postage but I will just keep them. I have not had great luck freezing snus. Doesn't Roda Lacket come in cardboard tins? hmmm maybe they do need freezing... I would probably use a can a week ... or two cans of portions a week.

I freeze all my snus that isn't being used right away. It should last until next year or longer frozen.

Here is my weekly post on the subject :P Snus doesn't expire, it has a "best by" date and will get dryer as it ages.

For those that haven't noticed, they are selling roda loose for this same price again. Not expiring though. Gotta buy 7 cans for 13.75, which is 1.96 per can. Good deal.
