    Ordered from BuySnus - Shipping to US, Taxed?

    Hey all! I have one quick question. I tried googling the answer but I failed to find anything.

    I ordered 6 cans of snus from BuySnus.com, It is shipping from LIDKÖPING
    SWEDEN. I'm short on cash now and I am just wondering if when it arrives at my door am I going to have to pay some extra cash to get it? I live in Montana, USA. I'm trying to find the answer myself, but I can't seem to find any answers.

    No tax from Sweden.

    The only time you get charged extra is when you use UPS, then you can get charged a "brokerage fee" by UPS.

    (Everything might change later after PACT gets signed into law, but for now no.)

      Oh O.K thanks. I actually DID choose UPS Experss shipping. Any idea on how much that is going to be. I really hate to ask these questions when I know the information is readily available on the internet, I just cant find it(googled like 10 different variations of words lol). I ended up paying an extra 28 U$D or so for that shipping and hope I don't get charged a bundle more.Also, how long does that shipping usually take? I chose UPS Worldwide Express Saver, and really paid hard for it Thanks again!

        It varies, it usually isn't much. As far as I know you won't even have to pay it up front, they usually send you a bill after the fact.

        Don't ever use UPS unless you have to for international shipments.
        BuySnus shipments normally take 7-14 days using plain old mail service, it's not worth the extra charges for a UPS shipment.

          Cool thanks. Well it looks like I did learn the hard way. Oh well it wasn't TO much extra to begin with. I just wanted to get it ASAP, as I really want to quit smoking ASAP, and I have been doing very well with Camel Snus(although I still smoke 3-7 smokes a day) the real deal should help me stop completely. Appreciate the answer! Thanks.

            If you're looking for stuff fast in the future, try shops that have warehouses in the US.

            Getsnus.com

            Clubsnus.com

            Norther.com (look for the brands with a US flag by them. those ship from their US warehouse.)

            My orders from Getsnus arrive in about 3 days on average.

              I used UPS (had to) for an order from snus.com. The order cost over 150 bucks and I just got the brokerage fee in the mail. It was 15 bucks and change.

              I remember another member received a brokerage fee from UPS on a smaller amount of snus and IFIRC it too was about 15 and change.

              The amount he was billed is probably in one of the threads you'll find in the search.

                Didn't someone around here also pay for the UPS Express, but they gave his snus "a tour of the country" before finally delivering it weeks later?
