Club 100 - New Loyalty Reward System @ Northerner

Just noticed Northerner have introduced a new loyalty reward system where by for every 100 cans of snus you buy you get can 1 roll from the Skruf range for free.

Looks like they've moved the snus merchandise bonus products into their own section but it's still there.

Oh and I see they've revised their catalogue so that you can see what's in stock when looking to place an order.

It looks like they want you to accumulate 1000 points before you can get any free product; and, at present, they are only offering Skruf. On the upside, they ship it from the US warehouse.

IMO, I like the old bonus program better where you can get individual cans for as little as 149 points... and not just Skruf! I hope they add some other cans back into the bonus section. Since I order from several different sources, it will take me forever to accumulate 1000 points!!!

Seems to me they are trying to force you into very large orders to build up bonus points. Good for them- not so good for people that don't order in large quantities from them.

They still have the shirts and merch and what not, just not the snus. That kinda sucks, I enjoyed throwing in a can of Kronan in once in a while.

Have Northerner ever chucked in snuff for bonus? I'd love that.
But damn- I've got nearly 1000 points and don't want anything.

By the by - I got great customer service again from Northerner today. I ordered a roll of Thunder long + on the 26th and it's still pending as there's none in stock. It has been the easter weekend so I'm not that fussed about the length of time it's been pending - just a little worried that I'm running low. So I e-mailed them asking if they could change the order to standard Thunder Frosted portions which they have in stock. They replied instantly and it's being sent. Thanks again Northerner.

FYI they'll have the long + in stock in the next couple of days.

I have some interest in this. I don't have enough points right now, but I wouldn't mind a roll of Skruf stark lös. I'd like to see them carry all their products in the US warehouse. The violet candy hung me up on my last order, so I bailed on it. If they had them in the US warehouse, I'd have ordered through them.

I hope they post more detailed rules on this new bonus system. I have a lot of bonus points and just used some but it says I can't use any this month. I wonder what the limit on bonus points for each month is.

Not that I'm complaining, I just want to know exactly how it works. I'm all for the rolls of Skruf as it's one of my favorites. I really like the way you can see the stock status and incremental quantity discount before you put it in the cart now.

I must say that I have been a loyal customer of Northerner for quite some time and I am a very pleased customer. They have always given me excellent customer service and gone out of their way to generously fix problems if they do occur. Many thanks to Frank and to all the staff.

This might be in preparation for PACT, too. I'm not sure, but I think they might not be able to give out Tobacco Freebies once it takes effect.

Can someone help out a lost newbie? I'm confused with the GetSnus/Northerner points system. I used some points last month for a free roll from GetSnus, but now it says, "You have XX pts, you can spend 0 points this month". I also ordered a few try out boxes and others from Northerner, and it also says, "You have XX pts, you can spend 0 points this month". The two systems seem to be completely different, as GetSnus shows my points from orders there, and Northerner shows my points only from Northerner orders, but neither site will let me use any points. Any ideas?

Hmm, not sure why you can't use them, but as of right now the two sites aren't linked together as far as bonus points.

Welcome to SnusOn! The Northerner Club 100 only lets you use 2000 points per month. But I believe you can still spend points on the other bonus items.

Thanks for the Welcome! I sent a message to Northerner, and the response was as you stated- when you use points on an order, then you must wait a month from that order date to order using points again. That makes sense, but...... I used points at GetSnus last month, not Northerner. They must be working on tying the two together somehow, because using points at one site means you can't use points at the other site for a month.
