Local B&M stores that carry snus.

I'm starting this thread in the hopes of having some kind of place where we can all hone in on B&M stores in our own local areas that carry Swedish snus. If internet shopping gets to be too much to handle, I'd like an alternative.
Having said that,

I'm in Summerdale AL. I'm right there on the very tip of southern Alabama. Currently, I have no knowledge of who might carry snus in this area.

General's website has B&M stores. Just click store locator. That's how I found the two in New Hampshire that I go to now.

Have you checked the Swedish Match website? Or visited local tobacco/cigar shops?

I'm hoping that some stores in the states may end up carrying V2 or Imperial.

Perhaps if everyone in the snus forums in a specific area got together and approached a shop, they may be convinced to start stocking it.

texasmade, I've actually been around for 2 years today; haha got a thing for tax day I guess. I was without a computer for almost all of 2009 though so I am just making my return. Thanks for the info I haven't had a chance to check out the local stores because I am actually living in Alpharetta now. When I was still living in Kennesaw I used to go to Mr. G's from time to time and don't remember them having a snus fridge. I'm sure they do now, but they probably only carry General right? I like General so I guess it would be a good place to go in a pinch anyways.

Yea, but if i've been reading about PACT correctly then I think these shops will start carrying a few other snus as well so we won't just be stuck with general if an order can't be made

Those listings on Generals sites are wrong, at least around here.

I called my local shops, none of them have even heard of it.

I spoke with the owner of a cigar shop in the historic downtown St Augustine. He carries General OP and the mini mints. He is also looking to carry nasal snuff. He told me he was impressed with the snuff.

It was $5 something a can, but with PACT, etc, it seems like a good idea to support the local guys a bit.

The staff there is helpful and super nice. I wish they had more then just General (nothing wrong with them, but variety is nice). Hopefully post-PACT they will increase their offerings.

According to the General website there are a few locations within a couple hours drive from me (I'm in Hattiesburg, MS):

1. Mobile, Al (Tinderbox)
2. Metairie, LA (Don Juan Cigars) I bought a couple of General Los cans from them a couple of months back when I was in New Orleans
3. Brandon, MS
4. A couple of places in Slidell, LA
