    Going to England

So, I'm going to England on New Years eve - traveling from Norway.
I know that snus is banned in the EU for sale, however I've "heard" that you can bring snus for personal use. I'm just staying for 4 days, so I'll bring like 2 boxes of loose and 2 portion, just to be safe. However, I need some safe confirmation that I can actually bring snus to the UK for personal use, like an official custom site for England or something... Anyone got experiences with bringing snus to England?

    Thanks in advance, cheers!

Snus is only banned for sale in the E.U., like a food-speciality that lacks some approval, NOT like an illegal drug. It is 100% legal for personal use.

The E.U. ban is just moronic and I'm glad that the national governments handle snus as what it is: moist ground tobacco, which is 100 times safer to use than cigarettes, but some misinformed idiots (not to say psychotic tobacco-haters) in Brussels wanted to be banned, 15 years ago.

Since oral tobacco is not taxed in the U.K., there also are no duties to be paid.

Shortly said, you will not have any problems!

    Cheers!

I have bought 30+ tins into england from norway and have never had any problems. They will probably think the cans are shoe polish or something.
