The only reason I went to that site was for the removable snus can lid! That and the quick shipping.

considering its still in PA the shipping will still be quick. my order from northerner shipped out from PA yesterday and will be here in a few hours

so shipping may actually be a bit quicker.

the selection has increased a lot as well.

I've been short of money over the last year, so I used Getsnus a few times do to price. I'll miss having a few select items I like dirt cheap, but at least the selection's pretty good now :^)

Yeah, I got in my first big order with them just recently (last Thursday, I think) and it should be coming in any moment via UPS. The reason this is important is one critical factor - The PACT Act. Northerner wanted some US site to use to dominate the market, throwing away the ideals that made this tiny little company my favorite. Fast customer service, very quick shipping, free mystery can's after 5 cans were ordered. These were the things that attracted me to it. I don't need a site with a billion types of snus, I only like Swedish Match products mostly anyways (I don't need mango, etc.). They took over the site, hopefully they leave the company and let them do what they know how to do best, run a great business in the US. Then again, I doubt it...Northerner seems a bit out of touch with the US market. All the more reason to keep the team that made that site great. I am rather peeved, but on one good note, their price of ONYX now is 4 cents cheaper! LOL, but if weathering the coming snuspocalypse (after the PACT Act) means paying a few dollars more for UPS to ship it, then so be it.

I guess these are some of the changes that are suppose to make this place better!

This might not be so bad really. The can prices just seem slightly more, but not much, and then there is a larger selection, minus the cans I guess they can't sell, but I didn't see any Rothbrix, nor any Offroad Original, and these are my faves. But Northerner is loved by a lot, and I suspect their service will be good, I wonder if they are retaing the original Getsnus employees? My only concern for post-Pact snus is the delivery charges.

Switch to another vendor.

Proven vendors are getting scarce. I don't have any issues with Northerner. Before Getsnus came around, I used Buysnus and Northerner for everything. I can do that again. Competition's good for consumers though, so It's a little disappointing that the number of vendors got smaller. We'll see what happens... In this unique case, a stronger Northerner may be better for everybody. I'd rather have 1 gorilla dealing with laws and crap, than 100 monkeys :^)

I don't know, I kinda have mixed feelings about this takeover. I liked the GetSnus.com's policy of a mystery can and free shipping on big orders and quick replies to messages....but they sometimes ran short on stock. Northerner may have the opposite problem. They may have everything here, but just slow responses and a really not so cool policy of Order 100 cans and get 10 free...The other site would let you get 20 free (1 for every 5 cans). I like the selection, but the most exotic thing I'll get is Skruf Xtra Stark, that should say something. I just will really miss the mystery cans, they let you try something new without having to commit money towards it, which is a really smart idea also for business.

My only concern for post-Pact snus is the delivery charges.

They are going to have to use UPS, FEDEX or DHL because of the age verification and signing restrictions. They will probably work out a contract with one of them (if they have not done so already) to get the best rates for themselves.

Well, after being a loyal and very frequent customer for over a year, they have been back ordered for over three weeks on my pending order, and now after two weeks wait they are all stocked up and I cannot even track my pending order status, and they do not answer the phone!!! To quote Scarface " Just one thing, don't ever **** me Tony", they can bite me. Northerner has always sucked!!! Trust me, I paid for that rant! Ass wipes, I am sure they will suck up and make it all better, but some one consciously decided to be quite underhanded.
