The exact same order that I placed last week from getsnus if ordered today from northernergetsnus would be 21% more and not include the free mystery can.
The company that owned getsnus was owned by swedish match. They are like the Wal-mart of snus. Lower prices and all that.
Norterner is like the local mom and pop shop in town. prices are a little higher but will do anything to keep their customers coming back and to make things right if something comes up.
they didnt have to give people that had backorders that 15% off to set the cost they would have paid previously back.
they don't even have to replace orders lost in te mail, but they do.
if northerner wouldn't have taken over getsnus then it would have been shut down completely and we would be in the same situation. they said they are looking into the free can deal and working something out with ups to lower shipping and possibly lower snus prices .
just wait it out and let them finish tweaking the system.
i hope this thing (Northerner/Getsnus) works out ok. i've placed my first order with 'em, Getsnus always came across as a champ.
Northerner, i noticed my card was charged as soon as i placed the order before it could have shipped, it was charged for the stuff not in stock too. is this normal now?
Also, are you guys going to get a phone # like Getsnus used to have in case things go wrong with an order?

yea, i ordered 2 rolls of es kanel portions and a roll of es kanel los. i gotta have that stuff. i'll order more at the beginning of june too, want to see what happens with this first order.
Frank. I must say I can understand that business can be challenging at times. However, I am not pleased with the level of customer service I am getting from Getsnus.com. Now there is no customer service phone number. The website was easier to navigate before the change.
I put an order in on Tuesday and have not received and email with my tracking number. It also took two days for me to get an email back from Getsnus.com. I wanted a can switched before my order went out. But to my dismay my email was not read in time to make the switch, not cool.
I also think it sucks I don't get a free can anymore. Who knows how my package is being shipped or when it will arrive. I am embarrassed that I told so many people about Getsnus.com and now they are experiencing the same things I am. I hope you guy's can fix this. Thanks for reading.
This is my first post on these forums, and I wish it were a more happy one. Now I understand that that things are surely busy with the buyout and PACT transitions and whatnots. I placed my first order with getsnus (which was always my regular) after the buyout with my biggest order ever on May 14. Now, iam leaving for Walt Disney World after this weekend so I opted for the 2nd day air for shipping and after 4 days (probably becase of the weekend) I recieved part of my order. I understand that the rest of my order was not in stock for a good minute, but it has been back in stock, still has not shipped, and after 2 attemts to contact northerner through that confounded e-mail system I have not recieved a response. Now it seems that if my order ships it will have to sit on my porch for 2 weeks until I get home from Florida. This saddens me greatly. Not only did I want to take some Skruf xtra with me, but now it will just be sitting out in the elements here in Washington. Yay rain!!
SnuserD I would give the email confirmation a bit more time. If you have not gotten either a confirmation by next Tuesday or have not received your package by then, I would contact Northerner directly. Not knowing is hard but it does not mean that things have necessarily gone wrong
ibsnus'n you might try contacting customer service at Notherner as well. They might be able to at least hunt someone down over at Get snus who can help. Also you might want to send Fredrick a PM (private message) through this site.

Snusdog, thanx for the welcome and the advice. I did send a request through Northerner this morning. I will also try to pm. I don't hold anyone at fault, I'm sure this stuff is a lot more complicated than I will ever understand, and I normally wouldt worry about a delay as I have a decent stock on hand, my biggest concern is the two week period I will be gone. But thank you for your help. I will give your suggestion a try, and I have no doubt they will rectify the problem the best that they can.
