    I'm kinda pissed at getsnus/northerner

    I go to the getsnus site to make a last order before PACT and see they are offering Roda at buy 5 get 1 free, so I place an order for 2 rolls of it...well, I only got one can free?

    Didn't I just buy 5 cans, four times? I emailed them and they got back to me 4 days later telling me that it was only one can free. I feel like that's deceptive and shady.

      Welcome to SnusOn, BlindOne! I think they should have given you 4 free cans based on the wording on the site for that offer. I didn't see any asterisk or disclaimer saying only one free can per order or anything. Maybe I missed it?

        I'd like to see the grocery store pull that one. "Buy four cans of beans, get one free" generally means what you thought it meant with the snus. That's what I would have assumed. That's why they often have a disclaimer like "limit one offer per customer, please". Without that disclaimer, the sky's the limit, or so it would seem.

          I can't tell you how many cans they would owe me! But I've sorta gotten used to it.

            Im kinda pissed because they finally got back to me about my order and said thunder frosted is out of stock which is why they havn't shipped it, then they asked if I wanted to change to an in stock item.

            When I replied to ask them how to figure out what was in stock, since their website says thunder frosted is in stock, I find that the email they sent me was sent froma do not reply address.

            Why ask me a question and then send it from an address I can't respond to?

              Sgreger, I was in a similar situation with Odens. Fredrik said there have been problems with their site saying things are in stock when they aren't. You should definitely recover the difference in the shipping you paid for versus the cheapest option at the time you ordered since you would not have sprung for 2nd day air if their site had accurately protrayed the availability of the product. So ask for that and I'm sure you'll get it back.

                If I have to wait a month like you did I am going to die. Thats why I signed up for the gold membership thing too, to hedge against northerner's fail. They seem to have a major excess of Jackobsons on their hands so hopefully those will reach me in the next few days and I can live off that till my thunder comes. After that, I plan on sending the remainder of the 50 cans to you for your "snus for the troops" project since I don't like jackobson's ice fruit. The crappy flavor probably tastes better right after you just got shot

                    It's a bit weird since it kind of convinces me to buy less then I planned. I did several smaller orders then I would have with the Volcano Snus deal. If they would have sent 1 volcano snus with each 10 pack I would have bought more 10 packs.

                      They did the same to me when I purchased 40 cans of Ettan OP in orders of 20 each. They only sent me 2 free cans, one of which I had to throw out because Northerner didn't pack the cans in a box but used a bubble envelope instead which got smashed by UPS, damaging one of the cans and spewing portions all over the envelope.

                        In your cart it should say at the bottom how many samples(free cans) you are getting. On my last order it said:

                        General Extra Sterk, Strong Portion (SAMPLE) - 2 pcs.

                          R.I.P. old getsnus........... they saved me from this kind of frustration. Northerner will in the end take care of you but all the frustration they cause is just not necessary.

                            Well I used to get a free can but I just bought a ten pack of snus and got no bonus... it was Knox White Portions. Today I go to the site and the top ten snus' has only seven snus in it. There is no way to get to page two of the portion snuses..... Most of the snuses are not listed anymore
