I'm a long-time lurker who has finally been brought out of the woodwork due to some problems I've been having with Northerner. I don't want to bash Northerner -- been using them for some time and love them to death, but this could be the final straw.
I placed an order on 6/24, trying to get in on the Jakobsson's double down deal. I found out shortly afterward that they were no longer honoring the deal (even though their adverts said it was good through June) -- oh well. I contacted them and asked that they cancel the order. They told me no problem, that it was canceled and the charge on my card was reversed. I then went ahead and placed a different order.
It's now June 29, and not only don't I have my order yet (no big deal), but in looking at my bank statement, I see that they didn't reverse the first order, and then charged me twice for the second one, causing my account to overdraft. I see three orders on getsnus.com showing "pending."
I tried contacting Northerner to get this straightened out, but they aren't replying.
I really don't want to jump on the Northerner hate wagon, but this really isn't good business.
