Northerner - double charge?

    Northerner - double charge?

    I'm a long-time lurker who has finally been brought out of the woodwork due to some problems I've been having with Northerner. I don't want to bash Northerner -- been using them for some time and love them to death, but this could be the final straw.

    I placed an order on 6/24, trying to get in on the Jakobsson's double down deal. I found out shortly afterward that they were no longer honoring the deal (even though their adverts said it was good through June) -- oh well. I contacted them and asked that they cancel the order. They told me no problem, that it was canceled and the charge on my card was reversed. I then went ahead and placed a different order.

    It's now June 29, and not only don't I have my order yet (no big deal), but in looking at my bank statement, I see that they didn't reverse the first order, and then charged me twice for the second one, causing my account to overdraft. I see three orders on getsnus.com showing "pending."

    I tried contacting Northerner to get this straightened out, but they aren't replying.

    I really don't want to jump on the Northerner hate wagon, but this really isn't good business.

      Almost the exact same thing happened to me, I placed an order on the 23rd, then found out about the jak's offer, so I contacted Northerner support and requested for my order to be canceled so I could make a new one.

      They said they would cancel my previous order, so I went ahead and made a new order. Its been almost a week now and I just heard back from them yesterday, They canceled the wrong order and it is yet to be refunded, but at least they say my order was shipped out on the 23rd... So it should be here soon.

        this is not what anyone wants to hear but....... keep those orders simple. never assume they understand you. never expect too much. they will ALWAYS make it right but you may spend some time waiting. northerner has always corrected every mistake i ever brought to their attention. sometimes they never replied to me and about the time i was ready to scream my snus would show up. most of the time they more than made up for mistake. but i have to say, in going on six years of buying snus from Sweden from every snus site you can think up i have never been ripped off. mistakes made? DUUH heck yea but always more than made up for them. Don't panic, just make sure they know what your problem is and be as nice as you can ;-) I have found that most if not all are very nice people

            I did last week, I'm guessing he hasn't read it. I'm sure his inbox is full because of the recent fiasco.
