Seems like a good deal though. Instead of simply losing any and all US customers you may have, you still get to ship to that base of customers (I'm not sure what kind of fan base SWW.com had to begin with), and still do business in the US, and someone else ships it for you.

I think there are certain things that go along with the new laws that some companies can do and some can't do. I'm sure there's some paperwork and registering that has to be done and all that and some companies can do it and some can't. I think it's why some of the smaller ones aren't around.

The lady at SnusWorldWide that runs the place said:

"We are still running the store. The PACT act regulations demanded us to have a company in the US, and thus we had to partner up with Northerner for our distribution, as time was too short for us to be able to manage that before July. All the support is still with us."

So you're customer support still goes through them, all Northerner is doing is acting as a shipping agent and that's it.

Yes, that would solve a multitude of customs issues amongst other things. I would have to wait for SM to be part of the mix before I would get a VIP club membership as I really do not care for any of the Jak line including the new wintergreen and definitely not the Ice Fruit(barf)
